A beautiful day was enjoyed by all at Gough Whitlam Park in Earlwood on Monday 8 June for the annual Sunday School Picnic. Families from many parishes across Sydney brought along their hampers and blankets and fold-out chairs and enjoyed the winter sunshine and good company whilst children young and old participated in games, activities and sports organised so well by the dedicated team of Sunday School Teachers that minister within our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese parishes. Our parish was part of the GREEN alliance together with children and teachers from All Saints (Belmore) and St Sophia (Taylors Square). Lots of fun all around! A reminder to all our parish families that Sunday School is an age-appropriate way to introduce the Orthodox Christian Faith to our children. We have classes for infants, primary and high school students. Classes begin straight after Holy Communion (10:00am) and finish soon after the end of the Liturgy (10:45am). Parents and grandparents can enjoy a coffee after the Liturgy whilst they wait to collect their children. All are welcome!

This Sunday 3rd May, His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Sebasteia will liturgise at our Parish of St Andrew. Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy from 7:30-10:30am. With much love and respect, we look forward to welcoming His Eminence.

A beautiful Palm Sunday Service at our parish this morning with both Father Angelo and Father Anastasios concelebrating the Divine Liturgy and many people in attendance, both local and visiting. Then at our sold-out Lunch in the Hall we all enjoyed a delicious meal prepared with much love and generosity of spirit from our tireless volunteers.
