📖 John 1:29–34

This week Pastor Kent reminded us that the world doesn’t need more opinions, achievements, or distractions—it needs Jesus.

John the Baptist points us to three reasons why:

✝️ Jesus takes away our sin.
👑 Jesus is supreme and eternal.
🕊️ Jesus gives the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came so that we could be forgiven, restored, and brought into a living relationship with God.

Today Pastor Kent shared a message from John 1:14–18:

Jesus Reveals the Heart of God

Through Jesus, we see:

* God wants to live among us
* God wants us to receive His grace
* God wants us to truly know Him

The message reminded us that Jesus did not come to condemn the world,
but to reveal the love, grace, and truth of the Father.

No matter your past, God’s grace is greater.
And His grace never runs out.

Today we honour and celebrate mothers everywhere. 🌸

Heavenly Father,

Today we thank You for mothers —
for their love, sacrifice, strength, and care.

Thank You for the countless ways they give of themselves each day,
often quietly and without recognition.

We pray You would encourage every mother today.
Give them wisdom, peace, patience, and strength for every season of life.

Be close to those who are weary,
those carrying heavy burdens,
and those walking through loss, grief, or longing this Mother’s Day.

May every mother know how deeply valued and loved they are, not only by their families, but by You.

Bless the homes they lead,
the lives they shape,
and the faith they pass on to future generations.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

How do we respond to God’s salvation?

We serve.

Not out of obligation.
Not to earn anything.

But from a heart that has been changed.

Grateful for what Jesus has done,
we live it out — in the way we love,
the way we give,
and the way we serve others.

“I am Your servant, Lord;
I serve You just as my mother did;
You have freed me from my chains.” — Psalm 116:16
