As we come to the end of the month of May, devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, we conclude our series of devotions to the Blessed Mother. Through Mary, we are led closer to Jesus, learning, as she did, to listen, to trust, and to say yes to Him.

Devotion IV – The Memorare

The Memorare is a prayer for the moments when you don’t have the right words.

It’s simple, honest, and deeply trusting. A reminder that we are never abandoned when we turn to Mary in our need.

For centuries, Catholics have turned to this prayer in moments of fear, uncertainty, grief, and need, asking the Blessed Mother to intercede and bring their prayers to Jesus.

The Memorare doesn’t promise an easy life. It reminds us that we are never left alone in it. Its words are simple, but they teach the heart to surrender. To bring every burden, every longing, every prayer to Jesus through Mary.

A prayer for the anxious.
A prayer for the weary.
A prayer for hope and trust.

May Our Lady gently lead your heart closer to Jesus, today and always 🤍

Throughout the month of May, devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, join us as we explore a series of devotions to the Blessed Mother. Through Mary, we are led closer to Jesus, learning, as she did, to listen, to trust, and to say yes to Him.

Devotion III – The Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Some prayers teach through silence.
The Litany teaches through titles.

Mother most pure.
Refuge of sinners.
Comforter of the afflicted.

Each title reveals something more about who Mary is and how she draws us closer to Christ. And in praying these titles, we are reminded of the kind of holiness God calls each of us to.

The repetition isn’t about saying the same thing again and again.
It’s about deepening our understanding;
like turning a jewel and seeing a new facet each time.
Mary is that jewel that reflects the light of Christ.

Traditionally prayed after the Rosary or during Marian devotions, the Litany invites us into a simple rhythm of trust.

Which title of Mary speaks most deeply to your heart? 🤍

A beautiful morning together at Following Mary’s Footsteps 🤍

A heartfelt thank you to Alicia Hernon from for sharing so generously and authentically with us. Your wisdom, joy, and witness touched so many hearts.

It was such a gift to reflect on the example of Our Lady and be reminded of the beauty of our vocation as daughters, wives, and mothers.

Mary, guide us always closer to your Son ✨
