ถ้าพูดถึงการเดินทางในเมืองใหญ่อย่างซิดนีย์ ทุกคนจะคุ้นเคยกับบัตรโดยสารที่ใช้ชื่อว่า Opal card เป็นอย่างดี แต่ถ้าพูดถึงเมืองอื่นๆ ล่ะ? อย่างเช่น Adelaide ,ที่เปนเมืองหลวงของทาง South Australia .. รู้มั้ยคับว่าเค้าใช้บัตรโดยสารแบบไหนกัน ???

วันนี้จะมาเปรียบเทียบ บัตรโดยสารที่มีชื่อว่า Metro card ที่ใช้กันในเมืองอดิเลท ว่าเหมือนกัน หรือแตกต่างกันอย่างไรกับ Opal card ที่ใช้อยู่ในเมืองใหญ่อย่างซิดนีย์

หลังจากที่ผมได้มีโอกาสไปอยู่ที่ Adelaide ประมาณ 2 เดือน ผมสรุป ข้อแตกต่างได้คราวๆ ประมาณนี้ครับ
อย่างแรกนั้น หน้าตา การออกแบบนั้น ถ้าไม่นับลวดลาย มันเหมือนกันคับ เป็น card แบบบอีเลคทรอนิค แบบบัตร ATM ส่วนการใช้งานนั้น ก็คล้ายคลึงกันมาก ใช้ได้กับขนส่งมวลชนทุกชนิด ยกเว้น เรือ ferry เพราะ Adelaide นั้นไม่มี .

สำหรับ Metro card ที่แตกต่างคือ รถเมย์ เราแค่ Tap on ตอนขึ้นเท่านั้น ลงรถ เราไม่ต้อง Tap off เหมือนที่ซิดนีย์ ข้อดีคือ ไม่ต้องควักบัตรบ่อยๆ แต่เป็นเหมาจ่าย อาจไม่ค่อยคุ้ม ถ้าเดินทางใกล้ๆ

เรื่องการเติมเงิน ก็คล้ายกันทั้งสองแบบ ทั้งสองเมือง คือ ซื้อเติมเงินตามร้านที่มีป้ายบอก หรือตามสถานีรถไฟจะมีตู้เติมเงิน หรือไม่ก็ลงทะเบียน เติมเงินเอง ถ้าเงินเหลือน้อย หักเงินจากบัญชีธนาคาร

เรื่องที่สำคัญ เรื่องราคา จากประสบการณ์ รู้สึกว่า Metro card จะแอบแพงกว่าทาง Opal card เล็กน้อย แต่ Adelaide ถ้าเดินทางในตัวเมือง สามารถโดยสาร ฟรี !! ครอบคลุมพอสมควรในเขตตัวเมือง ในขณะที่ Sydney ใน City circle จะไม่ฟรี !!

อันนี้ สรุปคราวๆ จากที่ลองเดินทางโดยบัตร Metro card ในเมืองอดิเลท เผื่อว่าใคร ที่ต้องไปเมืองนี้ ลองตรวจสอบแบบระเอียดได้อีกทีครับ https://transportnsw.info/ ----- สำหรับ Sydney

It has been truly an honor and privilege to welcome Ajarn Assoc Prof Dr Pakorn Priyakorn to Sydney to give keynote speech on "...Uniformity of Halal Certification Process : Thailand as a case study..." at "HALAL EXPO 2017 AUSTRALIA" held at Rosehills Garden, Sydney last week.
Special thanks to all members of Islamic Thai Association of Australia (ITAA) to help host a very warm and welcoming Dinner. May Allah reward all of you abundantly.

Henley Beach, Adelaide ,South Australia ฤดูร้อนของออสเตรเลีย บรรยากาศชายหาดของทุกที่ก็เหมือนจะคึกคักเป็นพิเศษ
แทบจะไม่มีที่ยืนกันเลย ในภาพคือ ใต้สะพานที่ทอดยาวลงไปในทะเล ขอบอกว่าในวันที่มีอุณหภูมิเฉียด 40 องศาแบบนี้ ใต้สะพานที่ร่มแบบนี้ เป็นที่ที่ชาวไทยไม่สู้แดดมากอย่างผม ก็แวะมาหลบแดด โดยไม่มีใครแย่ง แต่บนพื้นทรายของชายหาด กลับเต็มไปด้วยผู้คนที่เห็นแดดแล้วสู้ตายย !!!

On behalf of Islamic Thai Association of Australia (ITAA), it was our great privilege to welcome Ajarn Assoc Prof Dr Winai Dahlan (Khun Winai), Ajarn Assoc Prof Dr Pakorn Priyakorn, Ajarn Assist Prof Dr Vanida Nopponpunth, and P' Nureesun Mahamud to the vibrant city of Sydney to attend and give keynote speech at "HALAL EXPO 2016 AUSTRALIA" held at Novotel Hotel, Darling Harbour, Sydney last week.
It was also our pleasure to host a very warm and welcoming dinner for Prof team. Special thanks to our great sponsor; It's time for Thai Restaurant, ITAA and all dearest respected members from Thai Muslim community here.
It was, as well, our honor to welcome our dear sisters Fareeda Binti Nurdin Sci-psu, and ScienceCenter Pn, who are ,currently, Ph.D .student and lecturer at PSU. It was part of the very end of her trip to spend her quality time here after pursuing her research at the State of Queensland.
We do appreciate and cherish every fond moments we shared together. Although it was extremely short, nevertheless, we’ve pretty much witnessed your efforts, works and contributions done in your own professions towards Thai society as well as international community at large (....the favorite part is that you guys are still able to proudly represent Thai Muslim identity!....)

ตอนพิเศษ หลังจากเสร็จสิ้น วันอีดอีดี้ลอัฎฮาแล้ว เรามีเวลาอีกวันเต็มๆ ที่จะพาท่าน อาจารย์ บรรจง บินกาซัน ออกเที่ยวชมเมืองซิดนีย์ และสัมภาษณ์เล็กๆ น้อย
