he red carpet celebrity – the common ground is their Flip Flop straps which break prematurely, and of course Soterias solution. The embarrassment of walking down the street, along the beach, or around the house, only to be tripped over by your own flip flop strap breaking, was tolerated for too long, which birthed the concept of interchangeable / replacement straps. The concept was dreamt into being in 2007 and since then, designs, moulds and straps have been created and launched – enabling a fashionable solution for broken straps which allows the consumer to express themselves by swapping their straps as often as they like by choosing a strap which suits their sole and/or outfit. (at present we have 21 different colours/styles which fit ANY brand of flip flop)

Soterias is an environmentally friendly company as we provide a solution to get the most life out of your good condition flip flop soles. Every year millions of straps snap prematurely due to poor manufacturing and weak materials.This causing a massive environmental issue with millions of soles/bases being tossed out each year. The millions of 'useless' soles have now become a blank canvas for Soterias straps as you can re-use and customise those soles with Soterias Interchangeable / replacement straps! Soterias have also invented a solution for when your straps pull through the hole of your sole. The answer is the 'Sole Saver' plug – an oversized plug designed (and patented) in such a way it cannot pull through the sole, rectifying the all-too-common “Blow out” or “Pull through”. The Sole Saver plug provides a much longer life for your much loved soles. So, wether it be a 'snap' or a 'Blow out', Soterias is the solution! Re-use your current soles!
