You are warmly invited to join us for a monthly evening of prayer devoted to deepening our love for Jesus Christ, especially through Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Led by the Emmanuel Community once a month on a Tuesday evening, the School of Adoration includes a short talk, a time of Adoration and finishes with supper. Each evening offers a wonderful opportunity to encounter the One whose Heart burns with love for each of us.

On Wednesday 25 March, the Sydney Community gathered at St Peter Chanel to celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, marking the Virgin Mary’s YES to the Father and the beginning of God’s plan for our salvation. We also marked the 35th anniversary of Pierre Goursat’s return to the Father, a fitting occasion to remember that we exist as a community largely because of his own YES.

The evening began with a short reflection followed by Praise and Adoration. We were blessed to have Pierre, Marie-Ange and Christophe with us for this special celebration. The evening concluded with a joyful supper at the Presbytery and some outstanding Annunciation cupcakes.

On Saturday 28 March, members of the community gathered opposite St Mary’s Cathedral in Hyde Park for a morning of street evangelisation. The mission proved remarkably fruitful. We encountered many people who were willing to stop, listen, and visit the Cathedral. It was a powerful reminder of how ready hearts can be when we simply step out in faith.

You are warmly invited to attend an Emmanuel led Youth Group at Holy Family Parish Mount Waverley, beginning Friday 20th March!!

What you can expect is a time to build faith filled friendships with likeminded people, with LOADS of fun games, times of sharing, inspiring teachings, prayer and much more!
