This firm favourite is now back in stock!

Although his repertoire of varieties and styles is positively unlimited, Duane Coates MW is perhaps best revered for his chardonnay. A student of Mâcon’s Château de Messey, one of southern Burgundy’s more prolific chardonnay producers, Duane’s reference point for the variety is typically more in line with its native land than what’s trendy Down Under.

In previous years, Duane bottled two chardonnays: The Chardonnay, which typically sees around 11 months‘ time in barrel, and The Reserve, a barrel selection from top parcels of fruit. From 2023 onwards, however, all the Reserve material went into The Chardonnay, meaning year in and out it is a truly outstanding wine.

The 2025 has just landed. Super limited as always, so get in quick!

If English traditional method sparkling once felt like a curiosity, is a big part of why that conversation has shifted so powerfully in recent years.

A 1410-established Kent property reimagined in 2004 as the foundations for world-class sparkling has become just that, driven by a regenerative vineyard approach, extended lees ageing, and a young, highly-focused winemaking team.

Gusbourne was England’s first producer to be awarded the Chairman’s Trophy at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (2025) – not to mention a 3x winner of the IWSC English Wine Producer of the Year. They were also ranked no.28 in the 2025 World’s 50 Best Vineyards 🍃

Saint Wine is incredibly excited to partner with Gusbourne. Hit the link in bio for more info, or reach out to your BDM.

We are delighted to welcome Andrés Aragón MS to the Saint Wine team! A familiar face to the Australian hospitality and wine trade, Andrés officially joined us earlier this month, taking on the role of National On-Premise & Education Manager, and we’re so excited to have him on board.

With over a decade in beverage management prior to his six years at Jackson Family Wines – not to mention (somehow) squeezing in a Master Sommelier certification in 2024 – Andrés is as passionate about educating trade and consumers on fine wine as he is about FC Barcelona and Millonarios FC, who he’s happy to talk about this week 🏆

is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the “true” Sonoma Coast, in the far west, windswept ridges of Sonoma, California. It was founded in 1989 by horticulturists Joan and Walt Flowers on the belief that this rugged landscape overlooking the Pacific could yield world-class expressions of chardonnay and Pinot noir. They were right.

Now under the guidance of winemaker Chantal Forthun, Flowers’ identity is inseparable from its dramatic vineyard sites and its reputation for distinctively fine, mineral coastal styles of chardonnay and pinot.

We’re delighted to introduce these wines to Australia; initial offer out to the trade today. Please get in touch for more info!

Welcoming .j.mcdougallwines to the Saint portfolio!

Winemaker Eddie McDougall has spent more than 20 years exploring prestigious vineyards across the globe and learning from top vignerons. His ultimate goal was always to create a top tier collection of fine Australian wine and help raise Australia’s vinous profile overseas.

That goal was realised in early 2025 when he launched E.J McDougall, an inaugural suite of three bottlings championing some of Australia’s most hallowed terroir. Working with renowned winemaker Lilian Carter, Eddie – who is based in Macau, but travels regularly back home – is dedicated to lifting the international perception of Australian wine.

That he chose Margaret River Chardonnay, and old vine McLaren Vale Grenache and Shiraz for his first release is testament to both these exceptional regions, and his mission.

We’re thrilled to welcome Eddie and Lilian to the Saint portfolio! Expressions of interest offer out to the Australian trade this week.

Tucked between the Barossa’s more famous western ridges and the foothills of the Barossa Range, Vine Vale and its pocket of deep, sandy soils is one of the region’s quiet achievers.

Christian Canute of is one of Vine Vale’s greatest proponents, and for almost 30 years has championed the area’s ability to produce fragrant Barossa expressions defined by elegance, supple tannins and vibrant fruit.
