THE WORD OF GOD IS THE TRUTH
Because the scripture declares believers are blessed “with every spiritual blessing “ I made a decision some months ago to reply to people when they ask how I am to declare that truth over my life and say “I am blessed”.

OUR TALK DETERMINES OUR WALK
We preach that we don’t walk by “feelings” but by “faith “ , in Jesus , the one who died for us but our inclination is to talk about all “our aches and pains , ills and ales. “. Everyone knows that life is fragile and there are fresh challenges to be managed as the years roll on but that doesn’t negate eternal blessing when you are part of the body of Christ nor does it negate the hope within us. Moses was 120 and “his strength was unabated & his eyes were not dim”

FASTING IS IMPORTANT
I remind myself about Moses that on two occasions he had 40 days of fasting which renews the body. Beginning in 1978 with an attempted 21 day fast (I lasted19 days) I used to fast every Wednesday , in the church and only stopped in 2013 when an evangelist joined me and we had a wonderful move of the Holy Spirit. I thought revival had come and I could stop and I did.

HIS GRACE ESSENTIAL TO WALK BY FAITH
I was reminded yesterday when Pastor Margaret Pashley contacted me via email about a visit , that the last time she stayed here in 2025 I covenanted with the Lord to get up at 4:30 am and spend time reading the word and praying. All glory to God I can say by Gods grace I have not missed one morning ! Did I always feel like getting up? No especially on holidays & weekends but God enabled me to do it.

CHALLENGED
I remember my sister in law saying to me after I came off the 21 day fast at 19 days because I was having an issue. “ Did starving yourself all that time do any good?” I couldn’t answer her because I didn’t and still don’t know. I didn’t have a vision. I didn’t have a glory cloud experience during that time.

YOU ARE GOING TO SEE IT
I do know this. One day a young woman came to the church door from YWAM and said “The Lord sent me here with a message” . I said “What is it?”She said the Lord said to tell you “you are going to see it.” I had been praying for revival and thought in 2013 it was here . I thank the Lord for the mercy drops but we now need a deluge.

FATHER I THANK YOU FOR THIS ENCOURAGING PSALM THAT WE WILL BE FRUITFUL IRRESPECTIVE OF AGE.

Q:- WHY DO WE SIN .?
A- BECAUSE WE ARE SINNERS

WE WERE BORN THAT WAY
“ We all like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way.”

WHAT WAS LAID ON JESUS?
“The Lord laid on him the iniquity of us all” Isaiah 55:6

THE DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION OF JESUS
In meditating about THE CROSS a teaching by Derek Prince the Lord showed me afresh how Jesus paid the penalty for the sin principle which we inherited from our parents. The scripture distinctly says “ For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord .” Rom 6:23

DEFINITION OF SIN
I have now formed a definition for sin i.e. “the refusal to accept the righteous rule of God over our life”. The Lord instructed Adam that he could eat of every tree in the Garden of Eden EXCEPT The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil . ( Tree of Life guarded)

WOMAN WAS DECEIVED
Satan deceived Eve ,( Adam’s wife )into doubting the authority of God to make the rules and set up herself as her own god. Eve was deceived but Adam deliberately knew he was disobeying. Because they’re our first parents genetically the sin principle is passed from generation to generation.

COME TO THE LIGHT
In John chapter 3 Jesus clearly says:- “ this is the condemnation that Light has come into the world but men love darkness greater than Light because their deeds are evil”. In other words we are responsible for our own deeds.

THE DEBT FOR “ SIN”is PAID
That is why it’s very important that everyone hear the gospel ie the good news that Jesus legally paid the awesome debt for our sins but a deeper understanding indicates that he negated the sin principle to enable us to live an” overcoming life.” When we invite him to live in us, we become overcomes by HIS power.

NONE GOOD EXCEPT GOD
While reading the first few chapters of Revelation, it is clearly seen that every promise in the scripture is for overcomers. Jesus already knew we were in a hopeless predicament and the word says “while we were sinners He died for us.” People who set themselves up as their own god see themselves as “ good” . Jesus clearly said only God is good.

SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT
The scripture clearly says” all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. Rom 3:23 Our wonderful Heavenly Father has provided the way of salvation. His name is Jesus. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation which is a free gift to be acknowledged and received by confession of our mouth.

MANY STILL REBELLIOUS
Of course, when we receive salvation, we agree to come under the Lordship and rule of our saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

ITS UP TO US TO OPEN THE DOOR
“Behold, I stand at the door & knock: if any man hear my voice & open the door, I will come in to him, & will sup with him, & he with me. He that overcomes , I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, & sat down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭21‬

JESUS IS UNIQUE
Several weeks ago I was endeavouring to speak to a “traddie” about salvation. He was very much a Hindu and I had to correct him about a statement he made at the beginning of the conversation that his “religion” was much older than Christianity. Genesis 1 says “in the beginning God.”

JESUS WAS THE WORD WITH GOD
“In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God”

JESUS WAS THERE @ CREATION
“All things were made through him; & without him was not anything made that has been made. “

REVEALED THE FATHER
“& the Word became flesh, & dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace & truth. “

JESUS WAS VEILED IN HUMAN FLESH
“No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3, 14

MOSES ASKED FOR GOD TO MANIFEST HIMSELF

APPLYING THE BLOOD OF JESUS

BECAUSE OF THE CROSS
“& they overcame him ( Satan) because of the blood of the Lamb,“

CONFESSING THE WORD
“& because of the word of their testimony; “

SURRENDERED THEIR LIFE
“they loved not their life even unto death. “Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭

APPLYING THE BLOOD IN O.T.
“& you shall take a bunch of hyssop, & dip it in the blood that is in the basin, & strike the lintel & the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; & none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.”‭‭Ex. ‭12‬:‭22‬

HYSSOP SYMBOL OF CLEANSING
King David prays in Psalm 51:7 “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I shall be clean," using the plant as a symbol for deep spiritual forgiveness.

THE DOOR A TYPE OF THE CROSS
In the old Testament, the door post and lintels ie horizontal beam and vertical post became as the cross that Jesus died on, but the power of the cross is not in the wood or from whatever material the cross is made but THE SPIRITUAL MIRACLE HAPPENING BY THE SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS.

BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD
In the old Testament, they used the blood of a lamb of the first year without blemish, which was a type of Jesus the Lamb of God . To apply the blood to the EXIT TO EGYPT - WELCOME TO VICTORY DOOR the Israelites used a bunch of hyssop to stain THE DOOR. EVERY DOOR OF VICTORY WAS STAINED WITH applied BLOOD.

OUR CONFESSION APPLIES THE BLOOD
To apply the blood of Jesus, we use our tongue to confess the promises contained in the word of God of what was achieved because of the blood shed @ & on the cross of Jesus. “IT IS FINISHED” (TETELESTAI )

REPENTANCE - CONFESSION OF HIS LORDSHIP.
The Penalty of Sin: He took the spiritual punishment of death and separation from God in place of humanity.� Past, Present, and Future Wrongs: His sacrifice covered the entire debt of human wrongdoing,�Reconciliation: The payment allows people restored fellowship with God �Eternal Life: His purchase redeemed people from spiritual captivity and opened the door to everlasting life, healing & victory

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN
The first confession we make is acknowledging we have all gone “our own way “ and we deliberately turn back to HIM and surrender to following him. We learn his word and how that applying that word enables us to grow like Jesus.

HASTY WORDS NOT CARRIED OUT
Two things stood out to me as I read John 11 this morning. The doubting Thomas also said he would die with Jesus. At least Peter followed Jesus right to the mouth of the “ lions den” as it were , whereas Thomas disappeared.

GOD HONOURS HIS ORDER
The other , was the accurate prophetic word spoken by Caiphas the high priest. The Lord many times honours his gifting on people though their character doesn’t match the Lord’s requirements. ( eg Balaam)

Matthew 7:15 “ I never knew you”
The scripture says” the gifts and callings of God are without repentance”. In other words gifted people will answer to the Lord re their character but the gift remains.
The Lord JESUS said MY sheep know MY voice and follow ME.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PERFECT JESUS
Character flaws affect people’s believing in the power of God as this generates unbelief as questions are asked. The more I read the word of God the more I see that miracles, signs and wonders are not just to bless people but to make God known throughout the whole world “ by the word of their testimony “ that unbelievers will be saved and added to his kingdom by the verity of the testimony.

FATHER MAY OUR FAITH GROW STRONGER AS WE READ AND FEED ON YOUR WORD TODAY.

BORN AGAIN INTO GODS TRUE FAMILY

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT VALUED BY THE WORLD

OUR TRUE IDENTITY

GODS AGENDA IS WE CONFORM TO JESUS IMAGE
“ & it is not yet made manifest what we shall be”

CHRIST “IN” US THE HOPE OF GLORY
“We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him;”

BY HIS SPIRIT WE SEE HIM IN THE WORD
“for we shall SEE him even as he is.”

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD
“& every one that has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.”

DELIBERATELY SINNING ‭‭
“ Every one that does sin does also lawlessness; & sin is lawlessness.” 1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭4

FREE TO US - IT COST JESUS TOTAL OBEDIENCE
The scripture says that “ by grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourself it is the GIFT of God”. Much has been said about salvation being a free gift and that is true. However, when you receive salvation, God enables you to grow into the likeness of Jesus as a child takes on family identity.

IF IT FIZZLES @ the FINISH IT WAS FAULTY @ the FIRST
As the reformers said, we are “saved by GRACE alone but FAITH is not alone”. James says “faith without works is dead.” In other words our lifestyle reveals if we desire to become like Jesus or live a sloppy Christian life because salvation is” on the house” as it were. In other words, it didn’t cost us anything.

BALANCE NEEDED
I find it difficult today to hear the emphasis in preaching the gospel is that “God loves everybody just as you are”. Of course he loves everybody because HE IS LOVE & proved it at Calvary over 2000 years ago by giving his life for the world while we were all still sinners.

ALLOWING GOD TO “FINE-TUNE “US
As I read this morning about purifying ourselves, I was reminded about our part of the equation. Disciplines are required to be practiced as Christians not as “works to earn salvation “ but as a response to God’s wonderful salvation in developing “a fear of the Lord” i.e. an awesome respect for God‘s Holiness.

CHANGE!!
As preachers of the gospel it’s very important we present God as he really is and not “water down the gospel “ . John the Baptist and Jesus and Peter on the day of Pentecost all preached “ REPENTANCE”. This word means “change of mind.” which leads to a “change of direction “which leads to a “changed lifestyle.”

11 Cor 3:18
As we read the word of God allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us, we are being constantly changed into the image of Jesus.

FATHER TODAY MAKE US VERY CONSCIOUS THAT YOUR DESIRE IS TO CHANGE US INTO THE IMAGE OF JESUS THE HEAD OF YOUR FAMILY.

DECEITFUL DANGER OF BEING “LOVELESS”

DECEPTION OF ONESELF
“He that says he is in the light & hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. “

SPIRIT EYES SEE CLEARLY
“He that loves his brother abides in the light, & there is no occasion of stumbling in him.”

CANNOT SEE CLEARLY
“ But he that hates his brother is in the darkness, & walks in the darkness, & knows not whither he goes , because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

WE ARE FORGIVEN THEREFORE WE MUST FORGIVE
“ I write unto you, my little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭11

HATRED MEANING “LOVE-LESS”
As I read 1 John this morning I was reminded of Cain & Abel and the meaning of “hatred “ that John Bevere brought out in the “Bait of Satan “ teaching. Hatred means “loveless “in other words you don’t care about your brother or sister. You deliberately disconnect to everything about them and live as if they do not exist.

“ROARING LION “SEEKING TO KILL
When God spoke to Cain he said “ sin lies at the door”. So when we are deliberately “loveless “ towards our brother or sister because we hold something against them God sees it as hatred & exposing ourselves to being “ set up” by Satan to take revenge. Cain murdered Abel because of jealousy. This is a deceitful and dangerous way to live.

HIDDEN PLOT OF REVENGE
It was demonstrated clearly in the life of Absolom when his brother by a different mother , Amnon r***d his sister Tamar. “ Absalom spake unto Amnon neither good nor bad; for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.” ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭13‬:‭22‬ ‭ Two years later at an advertised celebration party Absolom murdered Amnon and ruined his life.

LEADERS ARE ACCOUNTABLE
I was reminded this morning as I read Psalm 106 that as leaders it is very important that we speak the word of the Lord, keep our eyes on the Lord as well as at the same time not ignoring sin that is brought to our attention.

REVIVAL REVEALS DECEIT
In the revival which began in ACTS 2 the presence of the Lord i.e. the Holiness of God was so strong that the deceitful spirit of Ananias and Saphira was shown immediately to Peter who challenged them & they fell dead. It is very interesting that it is in the area of money that the first major sin occurred.

39 INNOCENT MEN DIED AT AI
When Joshua led the Israel into the promised land it was in the area of covetousness that God‘s people transgressed also when ACHAN stole money & garments that God said should be burnt up ( devoted to Him) with all of Jericho ( except Rahabs house & possessions) . He hid the stolen goods in his tent which means to me his family were compliant with his sin.

BALAAMS DECEITFUL ADVICE TO MOAB
Phineas made an “ open show “ of dealing with immorality in front of Israel as they began mixing with idle worshipping Moabites before they entered into the battle for Jericho ( possession of the promises) .

GODS PRINCIPLES NEVER CHANGE
11 Chron 7:14 “ if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves & seek my face & turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven , forgive their sin & heal their land”

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
According to the word of God, Jesus is the light of the world. In other words, HE IS sheer light. Jesus is personified perfection “full of grace and truth”. He was born of the Holy Spirit & never sinned.

WE INHERITED A SIN NATURE
On the other hand we were born separated from God because we inherited rebellion from Adam and Eve from whom we all came. Because of that rebellious spirit, we then committed our own sin just like Adam and Eve. No one had to teach us to say” no “ to authority, to lie, to be aggressive etc. we just knew.

WE “ NEED” A SAVIOUR
While we were sinners, Jesus died for us. He knew we were born with a sin nature so did not come to condemn us but to save us at great cost to himself. When we reject him, we condemn ourselves as the scripture clearly says.

NO EXCUSE !!
“how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;”Hebrews‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬ ‭

OUTWARD APPEARANCE OF WORSHIP
In my reading this morning I marvelled that Zacharias was in the temple rostered to perform a religious exercise of ministry at the altar of incense which represents worship but totally insensitive to spiritual receptivity.

WORKS WITHOUT FAITH IS DEAD
His carnal reaction to answered prayer caused Gabrielle to act by saying he would be incapable of speaking anything negatively until John the Baptist was born .

LEARNING HUMILITY THROUGH SUFFERING
He was instructed, re JOHN’s name & when his relatives remonstrated Zacharias insisted that JOHNS name was to be as the Lord had spoken.

LEARNING TO “ Hear” FROM GOD
The moment of obedience was the moment of the release of his tongue & he was able to speak again. At this point of time he was so spiritually “ in-tune” with the Holy Spirit he began to prophecy.

SPEAK THE PROPHETIC WORD
I was very impressed how important it is that we speak positively about genuine prophetic words that have been spoken over us . Mary believed God immediately & said “ Be it unto me according to your word “. Her humble heart was good soil for the seed of the word to take root.

FATHER MAY WE CULTIVATE A TRULY WORSHIPFUL HEART TO RECEIVE AND BELIEVE YOUR WORD.
