TOPIC: TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR BODY
..Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost...and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19).
Did you know that your body isnโt yours? It belongs to Jesus Christ; you were bought with a price. The Bible says, โ...therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God'sโ (1 Corinthians 6:20). Even though your body belongs to God, He has entrusted it to you. Youโre the custodian of your body; youโre responsible for it.
Many havenโt understood this. They think God is responsible for their body and whatever happens in it. They assume that if they serve God well enough, Heโll automatically take care of their health. But thatโs not how it works. Youโre responsible for keeping your body in health.
Faithfulness isnโt the same as faith. You can be faithful in serving God and still allow sickness in your body because you havenโt taken your place of dominion. Youโre a partaker of the divine nature; youโre not ordinary. You have authority over Satan, sickness, disease, infirmity, and death.
So, refuse to allow sickness or disease gain entrance into your body. Donโt permit it. If you notice symptoms, donโt panic, donโt cry, and donโt accept them. More importantly, donโt beg God to take them away. Youโve been given authority. Exercise it. He said in Matthew 10:8, โHeal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devilsโฆ.โ Notice that He told you to do it.
Donโt beg God to take sickness away from you; rather, destroy it with your faith-filled words. Put your hand on your body and say, โIn the Name of Jesus Christ, I command this sickness to get out of my body. This body belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I refuse to allow any sickness in it.โ
When you speak like that in the Name of Jesus, that condition has no choice but to go. God is pleased with your faith. The Bible says, โBut without faith it is impossible to please himโฆโ (Hebrews 11:6). You donโt cry over sickness; you exercise authority over it. Use the Word to keep your body in health; this is Godโs will for you: โBeloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosperethโ (3 John 1:2).
CONFESSION
I have the life of God in me, and it fully inundates my body. Sickness, disease and infirmity have no place in me because my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I walk in health, strength and perfection. Hallelujah!
