We are hiring! Expressions of interest are invited in a part-time pastoral assistant role at Scots Church Sydney.

0.2 FTE Pastoral Assistant Role.
The exact remuneration to be offered would depend on theological qualifications.

The successful candidate would oversee the Sunday Platform, AV, and Music Team ministries including training, recruiting, and scheduling - like the Magnification Portfolio in a 5M structure; do some preaching and leading of services; and perform other general pastoral duties. Exact duties may vary over time as determined by the senior minister.

Ideally, the candidate would commence on the 1st Feb 2026, but the start time is negotiable. Expressions of interest should be sent to [email protected]. Applications close 15 Dec 2025.

Part of being a church community invested in training up the next generation of Gospel workers is that the end of year celebrations are always bitter sweet as we farewell our interns.

Please be praying for Andrew & Abi as they settle in Perth and Caitlin who will be heading to Melbourne.
Please also pray for our continuing interns Dhanu & Mark as well as our onboarding interns Aaron & Alex as they plan for 2025.

THANKFUL

As we wrap up the year, our Hub group leaders took some time to reflect on 2024. So many things to thank God for as He has worked in each of our members to grow us in maturity and built us up together as His church for the common goal of making Jesus known.
