Our church members gave me a challenge Yesterday! One by one, they came behind me and sang a short line from a song, and I had to identify who was singing just by their voice.

By God’s grace, I did very well and correctly recognised 9 out of 10 voices! 😄

The moral of the story is this: Jesus knows His sheep, and He recognises their voices.

As Jesus said:

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27, ESV)

Just as I could recognise the voices of people I know well, our Lord Jesus knows each one of us personally. He knows our names, our struggles, our prayers, and our hearts. What a comfort it is to belong to the Good Shepherd!

Thank you, Ayak Anyang Mannesah and the team, for organising this meaningful and enjoyable game. It was fun, but it also reminded us of a profound spiritual truth. 🙏🏾✝️🐑
