COVID turned our world upside down and kept everyone at home. With no way to attend church, Pastor Peleti Peleti and Pastor Asofitu , alongside representatives from Mt Druitt & Liverpool Samoan SDA Churches, came together to start God Speaks Ministry. They created this ministry to make sure families could still hear the Word of God during the pandemic.

It all started with humble beginnings. The only equipment we had was Peleti's. We didn’t have any proper lighting, as you can see in the photos below. We used outdoor lights set on a table stacked on a few crates. We did whatever we could with the little gear we had to ensure that we gave our best to serve God.

Yesterday, we laid Pastor Peleti to rest, waiting for that glorious morning. We want to honor him for dedicating his time, efforts, and passion to this ministry. God Speaks Ministry wouldn’t exist without him. We are thankful for the countless hours he spent teaching and mentoring our team. We were generously gifted Pastor Peleti’s bag of cameras, the very gear we used to launch this ministry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Puletele and the family for this meaningful gesture; it truly means a lot to our team.

A special thank you goes out to our current team and our representatives from the Mt Druitt Samoan SDA Church for your hard work over the weekend. Your dedication and service in honoring Pastor Peleti are deeply appreciated.

Rest for now, Pastor Peleti. Your work on earth is done. We’ll continue the work, and we’ll see you on that morning.
