Happy Sabbath Western Sydney ATSIM Family

It is another beautiful Sabbath Day.

We will be having church today via zoom and live streaming on this page.

We have our new Pastor taking the service today. We want to welcome Pastor Wellington to our group and community. He will be looking after and supporting our church group in Western Sydney until the end of the year.

Morning and Happy Sabbath Everyone..

Today at 11am we will be joining with the Armidale SDA Church as they pay tribute to Aunty Diane Roberts.

For Western Sydney ATSIM Church we will have a Bible Study at 4:30pm to close Sabbath. The topic we will be studying is “Does Jesus Care?”

Why Worry and Grow Wrinkles

With everything going on around us and in this world, it is hard not to get stressed, anxious and worried. With Covid and health concerns, to loosing jobs and income, to the environmental disasters that we see unfolding all around the world, not to mention the Political unrest that exists, there is a lot to be concerned about.

As Christians we live in this world and are affected by everything that goes on around us, but as Christians we have a unique perspective on life and why we are here and where we are going. This helps us deal with worry and helps us focus on what is important.

Pauline looks at the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42. It matters what we focus on. If Jesus is our focus, everything else will work itself out. We will be able to deal with our circumstances and what life throws at us. We will have peace and joy and a better life, if Jesus is our focus.

Zoom Church Service - 14th August 2021

We are looking at James 5:7-12
The hardest thing to do is wait patiently while there is so much going on around you. When you are not in control and feel things getting out of control, the last thing that you want to do is wait patiently. It is natural to want action, even demand action and when we don't get it we tend to take it out on those around us. James warns us to be patient and encourage one another. Join us as we look into what God expects of His people when everything is out of control.
