Pastor PAUL CHANG:
Welcome to All our Extended Family Members (all the siblings, cousins, and nieces and nephews), and all our brothers and sisters in Christ, and friends. There are plenty more from afar who could only send us their blessings in words and in kindness and support.
May All be Blessed in this Unique and Special Occasion today (17th December 2022), for the Matrimonial Celebration of the Wedding of our dear son Nathan and our dear daughter-in-Law Josephine Chang. (Nathan and Jo Chang).
As the parents and upon the request of our son Nathan, although we could not turn water into wine, we share with you all these Blessings for the Glory of the God of Moses and Abraham with God’s Word the Bible.
Bible (Isaiah 7:10-14 NKJV)
Moreover the Lord spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
“Ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above.”
But Ahaz said,
“I will not ask, nor will I test the Lord!”
Then he said,
“Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
Bible (Isaiah 8:10 NKJV): “… For God is with us.”
Bible (Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV)
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace ...”
(Matthew 1:22-25 NKJV)
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus (Yesus)”.
Jesus / Yesus is God with us, with His Life sacrificed on the Cross paying for all our sinfulness and transgressions, so we humble ourselves and are redeemed to become the People of God.
For in Christ, God has chosen us, sanctified us for sharing God’s Love among all the peoples in this world, to be set apart for His Call and Purpose. He will also glorify us in His New Heaven and Earth.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who Died, and furthermore is also Risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

As the humble parents of Nathan and Josephine, we charge you both and all our future generations of the Chang’s with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in His Precious Name (Matthew 28:16-20 NKJV):

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
