I Love Allah The AlMighty and most Merciful He is Allah, the Creator, the Producer, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him.

And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

দুনিয়াতে তো আল্লাহ তাআলা অস্থায়ীভাবে পরীক্ষা করার জন্য মানুষকে কম-বেশী কিছু পার্থক্যের সাথে অধিকার বা এখতিয়ার দিয়ে রেখেছেন। কিন্তু কিয়ামতের দিন সমস্ত এখতিয়ার পূর্ণরূপে কেবল মাত্র আল্লাহরই হাতে থাকবে। যেমন তিনি বলেন "আজ রাজত্ব কার? একক প্রবল পরাক্রান্ত আল্লাহর।" (সূরা মু'মিন ৪০:১৬ আয়াত) বলা বাহুল্য, মহানবী (সাঃ) নিজ ফুফুজান সাফিয়া (রাঃ) ও স্বীয় কন্যা ফাতেমাকে বলেছিলেন, "আমি তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে কোন প্রকার উপকার করতে পারব না।" (সহীহ মুসলিম ঈমান অধ্যায়) আর বনী হাশেম ও বনী আব্দুল মুত্তালিবকেও সতর্ক করে বলেছিলেন, "তোমরা নিজেরা নিজেদেরকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বাঁচাও। আল্লাহর কসম! আমি তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে কোন প্রকার উপকার করতে পারব না।" (মুসলিম ঐ, বুখারী সূরা শুআরার ব্যাখ্যা পরিচ্ছেদ)

He (Abu Dharr) said:

"And the Messenger of Allah smiled so broadly that his molars could be seen."

Muslim recorded it.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Abu Jabir heard Makhul say,

"A very old man with sunken eyes came and said, `O Messenger of Allah, a man betrayed others and did immoral deeds, and there was no evil deed which he did not do. If (his sins) were to be distributed among the whole of mankind, they would all be doomed. Is there any repentance for him?"

The Messenger of Allah said:

أَأَسْلَمْتَ


Have you become Muslim?
He said, "As for me, I bear witness that there is no God but Allah Alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger."

The Prophet said:


فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَافِرٌ لَكَ مَا كُنْتَ كَذَلِكَ وَمُبَدِّلُ سَيِّيَاتِكَ حَسَنَات

Allah will forgive you for whatever you have done like that, and will replace your evil deeds with good merits.

The man said:"O Messenger of Allah, even my betrayals and immoral actions?"

The Prophet said:

وَغَدَرَاتُكَ وَفَجَرَاتُك

Even your betrayals and immoral actions.

"The man went away saying `La ilaha illallah' and `Allahu Akbar."'

Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“There is none of you, nor any created soul, who does not have his place written for him in Jannah or Jahannam and whether he will be wretched or fortunate.” A man said, ‘ O Rasulullah, should we then rely on what is written for us and abandon carrying out good deeds and whomsoever is from the fortunate ones will get the actions of the fortunate and whomsoever is from the wretched will get the actions of the wretched? Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: [No, carry out good actions], As for the fortunate ones, good deeds will be made easy for them to carry out and as for the wretched ones, evil actions will be made easy for them”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1362 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2647)

Hadhrat Ibn Abbaas (RadhiAllahu Anhuma) narrates, “I was (once) behind Nabi sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam when he said to me:

‘O son! I shall inform you of a few things. Remember Allah and He will protect you. Remember Allah and you will find Him close to you. When you have to ask for something, ask of Allah Ta’ala. When you require aid, seek His Aid. Believe firmly that if all creation desires to benefit you in anything, they can never benefit you but that which Allah has decreed for you. If they all unite to harm you, they will not be able to harm you in anything, but that which Allah has decreed for you.”

Hadhrat Jaabir (RadhiAllahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said,

“You can never be a Mu’min as long as you do not believe in Taqdeer — in its good and its bad — to such an extent that whatever is to happen will not be warded off and whatever is not to happen will not occur.”

মুজাহিদ সালমান ফারেসী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি (সালমান ফারেসী) বলেছেন, আমি নবী করীম (সাঃ)-কে আমার কিছু ধার্মিক সাথীর কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, যারা ইবাদতকারী ও নামাযী ছিল। (অর্থাৎ, মুহাম্মাদ (সাঃ)-এর রিসালাতের পূর্বে তারা তাদের দ্বীনের সত্যিকার অনুসারী ছিল।) এই জিজ্ঞাসার উত্তরে এই আয়াত নাযিল হয়, {إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ آَمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوْا} (ইবনে কাসীর) ক্বুরআনের অন্যান্য আয়াত দ্বারাও এর সমর্থন হয়। যেমন, {إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْأِسْلامُ} "নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর নিকট দ্বীন একমাত্র ইসলাম।" (সুরা আলে ইমরান ৩:: ১৯) {وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْأِسْلامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ} (সুরা আলে ইমরান ৩:: ৮৫) "যে লোক ইসলাম ছাড়া অন্য কোন ধর্ম অনুসন্ধান করে, কস্মিনকালে তা তার নিকট হতে গ্রহণ করা হবে না।" বহু হাদীসেও নবী করীম (সাঃ) পরিষ্কার বলে দিয়েছেন যে, এখন আমার রিসালাতের উপর ঈমান আনা ব্যতীত কোন ব্যক্তির মুক্তি হতে পারে না। যেমন, তিনি বলেছেন, "যাঁর হাতে আমার প্রাণ আছে সেই আল্লাহর শপথ! এই উম্মতের যে কেউ আমার (রিসালাতের) কথা শুনবে, তাতে সে ইয়াহুদী হোক অথবা খ্রিষ্টান, তারপর সে যদি আমার উপর ঈমান না আনে, তাহলে সে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।" (সহীহ মুসলিম, অধ্যায়ঃ ঈমান, পরিচ্ছেদঃ মুহাম্মাদ (সাঃ)-এর নবূওয়াতের উপর ঈমান আনা ওয়াজিব) অর্থাৎ, 'সকল ধর্ম সমান' এই বিভ্রান্তিকর ধারণা যেমন বহু ক্বুরআনী আয়াতের প্রতি ভ্রূক্ষেপ না করারই ফল, তেমনি এর মাধ্যমে হাদীস ছাড়াই ক্বুরআন বুঝার ঘৃণিত প্রচেষ্টাও চালানো হয়েছে। সুতরাং এ কথা সঠিক যে, সহীহ হাদীস ছাড়া ক্বুরআন বুঝা যেতে পারে না।

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah does not listen to anything as He listens to the Prophet reciting the Qur'an in a nice, loud and pleasant tone." Sufyan said, "This saying means: The Prophet regards the Qur'an as something that makes him dispense with much worldly pleasure."

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah [Subhanahu wa Ta'ala] says, 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am Able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than them; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I so and so; you should also love him, and then Gabriel begins to love him. Then he makes an announcement in the heaven saying: Allah loves so and so and you also love him, and then the inhabitants of the Heaven (the Angels) also begin to love him and then there is conferred honour upon him in the earth; and when Allah is angry with any servant He calls Gabriel and says: I am angry with such and such and you also become angry with him, and then Gabriel also becomes angry and then makes an announcement amongst the inhabitants of heaven: Verily Allah is angry with so-and so, so you also become angry with him, and thus they also become angry with him. Then he becomes the object of wrath on the earth also.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ - قَالَ - فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي السَّمَاءِ فَيَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ ‏.‏ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ - قَالَ - ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الأَرْضِ ‏.‏ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلاَنًا فَأَبْغِضْهُ - قَالَ - فَيُبْغِضُهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبْغِضُ فُلاَنًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ - قَالَ - فَيُبْغِضُونَهُ ثُمَّ تُوضَعُ لَهُ الْبَغْضَاءُ فِي الأَرْضِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Dharr RA said:
"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'O Abu Dharr! For you to come out in the morning and learn one Verse from the Book of Allah is better for you than praying one hundred Rak'ah, and for you to come out and learn a matter of knowledge, whether it is acted upon or not, is better for you than praying one thousand Rak'ah.'"
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ غَالِبٍ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَحْرَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ لأَنْ تَغْدُوَ فَتَعَلَّمَ آيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ مِائَةَ رَكْعَةٍ وَلأَنْ تَغْدُوَ فَتَعَلَّمَ بَابًا مِنَ الْعِلْمِ عُمِلَ بِهِ أَوْ لَمْ يُعْمَلْ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ أَلْفَ رَكْعَةٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
