🤍OPEN HEARTS. OPEN HANDS.

This month our church focused on our theme for the year, starting with our very first preaching series focused on what it means to live with open hearts and open hands. ✨GIVING✨

Throughout August, we were reminded that giving isn’t just about what we have — it’s about what God has placed in our hearts. 🙏🏽

To finish the month, our church family came together to give back through a Food Drive supporting Foodbank NSW & ACT. 🥫❤️

What a beautiful reminder that when we give what we have, God can use it to make an impact beyond our church walls and into our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, served and gave so generously. 🫶🏽

PT 3: Hope in the midst of the battle | Pastor Lesu’i - Men’s ministry.

Whatever you’re carrying today don’t let fear have the final word.

Bring every burden before God in prayer, trusting that He will strengthen you.

If there’s one thing we hope you’ve taken away from our series let it be this: “Call on me and I will answer you..” Jeremiah 33:3.

With love,

PT 2: The Turning Point | Young Couples
‘How do you know it’s time to ask for help?’

When you start to bury it all and push the people you love away - that’s the time you need them the most.
That is also the hardest time to ask for help.

What a month for Summerhill!
Every testimony, every breakthrough, every answered prayer both cried and whispered all point to one truth:
God is STILL working.
We leave May grateful for all God has done and expectant for all He will do for He’s not done with us yet.
To Him be all the glory.
Soli Deo Gloria!

Summerhill belongs to Jesus!

This Sunday we have a 3-in-1 special:
🕊️ Baptism Sunday
🙋🏽‍♀️ Testimony Sunday
🍕 Shared Lunch

Come celebrate as members of our church family publicly declare “I BELONG TO JESUS!” Listen to testimonies of how great our God is and if you also have a testimony on your heart, we would love to hear it. Or just come and fellowship after church ☺️

Don’t forget to bring a plate!

“Our Hebrew word today - Qarab - is taken from Jeremiah Tago’s sermon last Sunday: He is a miracle working God.
Qarab means to INTENTIONALLY position yourself close to God.
The way you cannot hear someone yell for you if you are standing too far from them is the same way many of us struggle to hear the voice of God while keeping our distance from Him.

Draw near.

Our encouragement this week is drawn from the verses shared this past Sunday.
Sometimes we wait for God to move while still holding onto the very things He’s asking us to let go of.
Resist. Draw near. THEN watch God move.
What could this world possibly offer us that is greater than what God already has prepared for us?
