Egypt never knew God but
NOW Egypt defends Christ unto death

Egypt never bore fruits but
NOW produces thousands of martyrs and saints

Egypt never had God-fearing rulers but NOW produces spiritual kings, the Desert Fathers, who founded Christian monasticism, the creed and the school of Alexandria

Egypt never had places of Christian worship NOW has 'an altar to the LORD in the center of the land'

Egypt never harbored the Holy but
NOW hosts the very footsteps of Christ, sanctifying the Nile and its deserts.

EGYPT never had Christian leadership but NOW it has Apostolic succession 'it will have a pillar to the LORD at its border.'

Let us pray that our hearts be a little EGYPT, so we can allow Christ to make the necessary changes NOW

St Wanas Youth and servants will create and share in many Egyptian cuisines such as molokhia, kofta, sahlab, baleela and basboosa, just to name a few!

Abouna Joshua Younan, the beloved father of St Mary and St George Church in Townsville, QLD has served, is serving and will continue to serve St Wanas youth whilst they study interstate.

We ask God to bless Abouna, Tasoni Christine and the generous servants who are family to them while they are away from us.
