This Sunday brings us to the final week of our series, Stop Chasing the Wind. We will be unpacking Ecclesiastes 11:7–12:14 looking at how remembering our mortality reshapes what is truly important in life.

Our culture spends vast amounts of energy attempting to avoid, ignore, or delay the realities of aging and death. Yet the Teacher in Ecclesiastes calls us to look at life under the sun with complete honesty and “Remember your Creator” before the years catch up with us.

When we realise that we cannot master life or force it to give us ultimate meaning, we are freed to receive every day, every relationship, and every simple joy as a gift from God.

We’ve also got some fun things planned to help make the most of Father’s Day: ♨️ BBQ cook-up featuring Thuringer Bratwurst, a round of ⚽ velcro football darts for all, not just the dads... plus every dad will receive a 🍫 chocolate gift to take home.

Bring your Dad to church this Sunday and enjoy Father’s Day together. 🧦🍫💚⚽️

Our hope is that your Dad has a great time and gets a taste of what church is about. We’re looking forward to giving thanks to God for the many amazing men in our community who love and care for the next generation.

Stick around after the service for a BBQ cook-up featuring gourmet Thuringer Bratwurst from , plus a small gift for dads and a soccer darts comp for everyone to enjoy!

Been thinking about checking out Vine Church? 👋 We’d love to meet you one Sunday soon!

When you arrive, you’ll see lots of friendly faces in the Plaza entrance. Come say hello, check in, and a name tag will print automatically for you. Then head through the large glass doors and find a seat in the main auditorium.

During the service, there’ll be live music, prayers, a Bible reading and a sermon. You won’t be asked to speak or do anything you’re not comfortable with. Afterwards, you’re welcome to stick around for some good food and conversation.

If you’re unsure about anything, just ask! Chat to one of our hosts, or even the person sitting next to you. We’re a friendly bunch and we’re here to help make your first experience at church a great one.

Sydney Marathon is taking over the streets this Sunday morning 🏃‍♀️ so getting to church may take a little more planning than usual.

It’s a great week to come along to church, espeically if you're curious about Christianity, asking questions, got doubts or not sure what you believe.

We’ll be continuing our Stop Chasing the Wind series, looking at some of life’s big questions through the lens of ancient wisdom found in the book of Ecclesiastes.

PLUS this Sunday, we’re having a Mexican Fiesta after all three services! 🌯😃🌮 So come along, stick around afterwards, meet someone new and enjoy some good food and conversation.

Just allow some extra time to get to church and find a park with the road closures.

🎈🏠 Up says there’s more to life than what you can control.

Three thousand years earlier, the Bible’s book of Ecclesiastes was saying much the same thing as these Pixar movies.

Last week, the series 'Stop Chasing the Wind' began by looking at pleasure and work. This week, our lead pastor, Toby Neal, picks up where 'Up' leaves off: Life is more than control.

Ecclesiastes challenges us to stop gripping and grabbing, trying to conquer and control our lives — and instead learn to receive life as a gift from God. A great week to come along if you've ever wondered: “Will I ever get my life under control?”
