Kindness isn’t just being nice.

James 1 reminds us that what is happening in our hearts should eventually show up in how we live and treat others.

God has shown us kindness first. And as we understand His kindness towards us, it should shape the way we love, speak, and act towards others.

So the question is simple:

Are we actually kinder?

Church isn't a building full of morally good people.

It's a family of broken, sinful people who are all saved by the same Saviour.

---------

Over the past few months, we've welcomed many new members—each with different lives, struggles and stories to tell, yet all saved by the same Saviour: Jesus, friend of sinners.

Praise God for our growing church family, and for His great love in saving a people for Himself!

Patience isn’t simply waiting for things to change. It’s learning to trust God while we wait.

Joy is easy when life is going well.

But what happens when it isn’t?

In John 16:16–24, Jesus tells His disciples that sorrow is coming, but their sorrow will ultimately be turned into joy.

Christian joy isn’t the absence of suffering. It’s knowing that suffering doesn’t get the final word.

Our circumstances change. Our feelings change. But Christ remains.

Because Jesus has overcome death, we can have a joy that endures—even in the hardest seasons.

Where are you looking for your joy today?

Shepherding as God’s Under-Shepherd | 1 Timothy 3:1–7

What does God look for in those who lead His church?

Before ability comes character. Before gifting comes godliness.

In this passage, Paul lays out the qualifications for overseers, reminding us that faithful leadership begins with a life that reflects Christ.
