Pray for Nepal 🙏🇳🇵

As deadly floods devastate communities across Nepal and over 1,000 people are reported missing, please join us in praying for everyone affected, and for search and rescue teams as they respond. May those who are grieving find comfort, those who have lost homes find support, and those responding to the crisis have strength and wisdom to meet everyone's needs.

We pray especially for our Partners and the communities they support, trusting that God's hope and provision will shine through even in difficult times. 🙏

Last week we stood with Isaiah and beheld the holiness of God.

This Sunday, we take the next step.

In Psalm 63, David finds himself in the wilderness—far from home, surrounded by uncertainty, yet he makes one remarkable declaration:

“O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You.”

In a world constantly pulling at our attention and competing for our affection, what does it look like to seek God with our whole heart?

As we continue our Heart of Worship series, we’ll discover that true worship isn’t just about singing songs - it’s about delighting in God above everything else, finding our deepest satisfaction in Him, and learning to cling to Him in every season of life.

🌿 You’re warmly invited to join us this morning at Batemans Bay Baptist Church.

Today our young people will be helping lead the service as we explore one of Jesus’ most well-known stories – The Good Samaritan.

It’s a story about kindness and mercy, but it’s also a story that reminds us that there are times in life when we find ourselves broken, weary, and unable to fix things on our own. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus comes near to us in our need with compassion and grace.

There’ll be smiles, songs, and a few special moments as our children help us see this familiar story with fresh eyes.
