Senior Pastor David Skirving presents: Worth The Risk ✝️

Paul received 39 lashes not once, not twice, but on five separate occasions for preaching the Gospel. He knew what was coming every time, yet he kept going back to the synagogues.

What risks are we willing to take so someone else can hear about Christ?

Senior Pastor David Skirving presents: Infinitely Better Privilege ✨

Why hold tightly to our own rights when we can experience something infinitely better? Paul reminds us that laying down our preferences allows us to share in the joy of the Gospel and partner with God in bringing others to Christ.

If you’ve ever had the privilege of helping introduce someone to Jesus, you know there is no greater joy. Pray today that God would use you to share that same Gospel hope with those around you!

Senior Pastor David Skirving presents: Removing the Obstacles ✝️

Paul made a clear distinction in how he lived: if people were offended by the cross or the Lordship of Christ, that was between them and God. But if they were tripped up by something he was doing, he saw it as his own responsibility.

Are there personal habits or rights we can lay down to ensure others hear about Jesus without unnecessary barriers?

Senior Pastor David Skirving presents: Serving Others First ✝️

In a Roman world where everyone fought to climb the social ladder, Paul did the complete opposite. Though born a free citizen with full rights, he gladly stepped down to become a servant.

How can we put others first and use our freedom to serve those around us today?

Senior Pastor David Skirving presents: Giving Up Rights ✝️

Jesus willingly gave up His heavenly rights, entered our world, and died on the cross for us.

In response, Paul invites us to ask ourselves: what rights can we gladly lay down so that others can hear the Gospel?

Subi Church Sermon Snippet

Pastor Steven Daly presents: Pointing to the Cross ✝️

The book of Obadiah is about God addressing the Edomites for how they treated others, but its story doesn't end there. Ultimately, it points us straight to Jesus, the cross, and the hope of the Gospel!
