Join Pastors Braden & Carson at our 6 PM Sunday night service, designed for young people navigating the end of school (Years 11 & 12) and the university years. It’s a smaller, relaxed space to figure out life together, discover faith, and grow as leaders.

Whether you're a Christian or just starting a "God search," you are so welcome here.

πŸ• Bonus: We grab a completely free dinner together right after the service to hang out and connect!

This weekend, most of Subi Church's young people will be at State Youth Games in Bunbury. Because of this, there will be no one to run or attend our Sunday Night service at 6pm! If you were planning on coming to the Sunday 6pm, please attend one of our other services: Saturday 5pm, Sunday 9am or Sunday 10:45am. The Sunday 6pm service will resume next Sunday 7 June.

Abby sat down with Pastor David to find out what the Practical Christianity course is actually about, and honestly, it's one of those things that's hard to find a reason not to come to.

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, you're brand new to Christianity, or you've been around for years and want to go deeper, this course was built for you.

Topics include how to get the most out of the Bible, how to pray, and how to resist temptation.
Real, practical stuff.

We had our first session on the 24th of May, but it’s not too late to get involved! Sign up now to attend the next five sessions in the course, 12:15pm for the next five Sundays.

Most of us think becoming a Christian is the starting line, and then you move on to something deeper.

But Pastor David said something this week that hit different:
"God doesn't want us to move beyond Christ crucified. He wants us to move deeper into it."

The cross isn't the beginning of the journey. It IS the journey.

Braden sat down with Pastor David to unpack Sunday's message on 1 Corinthians; what it means when the church goes pear shaped, and how staying rooted in the cross keeps us from doing the same.

Happy Mother's Day from Subi Church!
Today we celebrate and honour the mothers who God has placed in our lives.
Our prayers are also with the families for whom Mother's Day is a difficult time.

In 1 Corinthians, the church in Corinth was ashamed of the cross, and the church was filled with division and sin.
But what happens when you do embrace the cross?
The cross kills our pride, so division dies. The cross washes us clean, so we live holy lives. Let's not be like the Corinthians; let's embrace the cross.

So often, when a pastor gives us an application in a sermon, we think, 'so true, that's a great idea. I should do that.'
But how often do we actually do it?
Pastor Braden gave us this application when preaching on Acts 2. This time, stop what you are doing, and actually do it!
