Спасибо всем, кто посетил наш столик на Детском фестивале 2026l! 🌿

Наша школа подготовила мастер-классы на тему Вербного Воскресенья — дети делали бумажные корзинки с вербами и крестики из пальмовых листьев. Также наши ученики выступили со стихами и отрывками из произведений Пушкина, Есенина и русских народных сказок.

Спасибо всем участникам, родителям и гостям фестиваля за тёплую атмосферу и поддержку нашей школы!

Thank you to everyone who visited our table at the Children’s Festival!

Our school presented Palm Sunday themed craft activities, including paper baskets with p***y willows and crosses woven from palm leaves. Our students also performed poems and excerpts from works by Pushkin, Yesenin, and Russian folk tales.

Thank you to all participants, families, and festival guests for the warm atmosphere and support of our school!

Dear Teachers and Parents,

Lazarus Saturday

Next Saturday 4th April is Lazarus Saturday - there will be no lessons - students should come for the 9am Liturgy that will be sung by the school. After Liturgy a lunch will be provided - the day will conclude around 11am.
All students are encouraged to have confession from 5pm on Friday night and communion on Saturday morning.

School Holidays

There will also be no lessons on Saturday 11th April - as that is Great Saturday - the day before Pascha. Lessons will next be held on Saturday 18th April.

Children's Easter Drawing Competition

Matushka Elisabeth is running an Easter Drawing Competition - please have a look at the posters. We invite all children of our parish to participate in our Easter Drawing Competition.

4 апреля в 16:00 приглашаем вас в Русский клуб в Стратфилде на открытие выставки Живая Традиция. Икона ХХl века.

Анна Прейзе — иконописец, работающий в живой традиции православной иконографии. Её работы исследуют присутствие священного образа в современном мире и стремятся раскрыть внутренний свет и тихую созерцательность иконы.

Сохраняя связь с каноническим языком традиционной иконописи, её художественный подход отражает современное ощущение пространства, цвета и света. Работы вдохновлены созерцательным художественным языком, связанным с иконописной школой Ю.Э. Кузнецова, известной своим светлым и медитативным прочтением священных образов.

Не копируя исторические образцы, художник обращается к традиции как к живой духовной практике, позволяя иконе говорить с человеком XXI века, сохраняя при этом её богословскую глубину и символическую ясность.

Сдержанная цветовая палитра, тихие композиции и внимание к внутреннему сиянию образа создают пространство для созерцания, молитвы и внутреннего размышления.

Мы с радостью ждём всех на возвращении в русскую школу в субботу, 31 января! Мы с нетерпением ждём встречи с нашими учениками и их семьями, чтобы вместе начать новый учебный год.

Утро будет проходить по следующему расписанию:
✅ 10:00 — Регистрация
✅ 10:30 — Молебен в кафедральном соборе святых апостолов Петра и Павла

После молебна ученики будут распределены по классам и начнут занятия со своими преподавателями.

Родительское собрание состоится после того, как дети уйдут на занятия.

❗ Всем родителям настоятельно рекомендуется присутствовать на собрании, так как будут обсуждаться важные вопросы предстоящего учебного года.

We are excited to welcome everyone back to Russian School on Saturday, 31st January!

We’re looking forward to seeing our students and families again and starting the new school year together.

Here is how the morning will run:

✅️ 10:00am – Registration

✅️ 10:30am – Moleben at St Peter and Paul Orthodox Cathedral

After Moleben service, students will be distributed to their classes and begin lessons with their teachers.

A parents’ meeting will take place once students have started their classes.

❗️All parents are kindly asked to attend the parents’ meeting, as we will be discussing important matters for the year ahead.

As the 2025 school year came to an end, we would like to say thank you to all our parents and students for your support, commitment, and enthusiasm throughout the year! It was wonderful to celebrate together at our Russian School Graduation Day in December and mark the achievements of our students.

A special congratulations to our Year 10 graduates — your dedication, maturity, and steady effort over the years have been truly admirable. We are very proud of how far you have come and wish you every success in the next chapter of your journey!

We are already looking forward to the new school year and are excited to see everyone back on 31 January 2026. Wishing you all a restful and happy break!
