Introducing our Stawell Inter Church Council Cottage:

At the Cottage, we provide emergency relief assistance to those in need in Stawell and region.

Our aim is to help with immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis whilst maintaining the dignity of those who seek our help. We provide food aid and a limited number of coupons for the supermarket, chemist, fuel, VLine, second hand clothing, overnight accommodation and meals. We also refer and make appointments for those we help to access local community support services.

We have been helping those in need in Stawell and district since 1970 and are staffed by volunteers from our local churches and our Stawell community.

The funds we distribute come from a Commonwealth Government grant provided to us through Wimmera Uniting Care and donations from local churches, individuals and the law courts.

The Cottage is located at 20 Sloane Street, Stawell Vic 3380

Open hours:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
