Your flesh wants comfort.
It wants pleasure.
It wants what feels good right now.

But your soul and even your body, one day glorified, was made for eternity.

The flesh we fight today is the sinful flesh.
It justifies compromise, entertains temptation, and silences conviction.
It lives for the moment, not for what lasts.

That is why Scripture says

“For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh.”
Galatians 5:17

Your sinful desires do not care about holiness.
They do not care about obedience.
They do not care about eternity.

But your spirit and your glorified body will stand before God.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.”
2 Corinthians 5:10

So stop letting something temporary control something eternal.
Discipline your flesh.
Feed your spirit.
Choose what lasts.

Because the sinful cravings are temporary
Eternity is not

Our God is a consuming fire, refining us as His bride. His jealousy is Holy and full of love. He has given us ALL of Himself and is heartbroken when we choose lesser loves. When we seek our identity, purpose, life and love in other things. He must be on the throne of your heart, beloved. Give Him full access.

We live in an era where the success of a church is often measured by its decibel level, the size of its campus, and the sheer volume of its programs.

We look at a massive, busy congregation and think, "God must really be moving there."

But A.W. Tozer calls this out for what it is: a monstrous heresy. We have convinced ourselves that God is impressed by our noise, our activity, and our bluster. We think that if we make a big enough scene, God is surely pleased.

However, God isn't looking for a circus. He isn't impressed by how much we can do or how loud we can be. He is looking for a people who are hungry for Him, not just hungry for entertainment.

A church that pleases God isn't necessarily the biggest one; it's the one where His presence is the main attraction, not the side show.

One thing I can say... every blessing from God starts with a Leap of Faith!

Some don't know this, but before AoC Network, I worked as a Hospital Chaplain... full benefits, and a stable career path.

Then, all of a sudden.. the Spirit said quit this, and start making YouTube videos for my people!

Like what?! It was scary... we didn't have many viewers... People said "you're crazy to do that!" But that leap of faith somehow led to people being impacted.

And then random people started reaching out who had talents and they wanted to help out with the content. Next thing we knew.. documentaries started to be made.

That was nearly 9 years ago... and although none of us are wealthy, we are content. We have food and shelter, and have made an impact.

So remember, God may call you to do something many wouldn't understand... but FAITH will take you farther than your own ability. Faith taps into the supernatural, and GOD will get involved. Just watch. 🫡

God is still working behind the scenes.

What you can’t see yet, He is already preparing.

Trust the process. Trust His heart.
