✨ NEW SERMON SERIES ✨

Starting this Sunday, we’re diving into the book of Genesis: a story of beginnings, brokenness, grace, and the faithfulness of God through every generation.

“Genesis: A fallen family and the faithfulness of God”

Join us as we explore how God works through real people, real struggles, and imperfect families to accomplish His perfect plan.

We’d love to see you in person or online!

Today we celebrate and give thanks for the incredible women who nurture, encourage, support, and love so generously each and every day.

To all mothers, grandmothers, carers, mentors, and mother figures thank you for the countless ways you bless the lives of those around you. Your kindness, strength, and faith do not go unnoticed.

“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Proverbs 31:31

Wishing you a joyful and blessed Mother’s Day from all of us at Stanthorpe Anglican Parish

Today, we pause to remember.

On this Anzac Day, Stanthorpe Anglican Parish joins with our community in honouring the courage, sacrifice, and service of all who have served our nation—past and present.

We give thanks for their bravery, we reflect on the cost of peace, and we hold in prayer those who continue to carry the impacts of war.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13

Lest we forget.

New Sermon Series: THE GOOD LIFE

Jesus’ most famous teaching: the Sermon on the Mount, challenges everything we think we know about happiness and success.

Over the next few weeks we’ll unpack these powerful words and discover the life Jesus invites us into.

He is not here; He has risen! ✝️🌸

Today we celebrate the hope and joy of the resurrection.

May the risen Christ fill your hearts with peace, renewal, and everlasting hope this Easter.

“He is not here; for He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

Blessings from all of us at Stanthorpe Anglican Parish.

Today we pause and remember the depth of Christ’s love shown on the cross.

On Good Friday we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus, who laid down His life for us. Through suffering came redemption, and through the cross came hope for the world.

May we take time today to quietly reflect on this great love and the grace freely given to us.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

ASH WEDNESDAY

A cross marked in ashes, a quiet reminder of our humanity and God’s grace.

“Return to me with all your heart,” declares the Lord.
— Joel 2:12

Today we begin the season of Lent: a time to pause, reflect, repent, and return our hearts to God.

May this season draw us closer to Christ and shape us in love, humility, and hope.

This Sunday (18th January) is a Teaching Eucharist.

We’ll slow things down and explain what we say and do in church — and why it matters.

If you’ve ever wondered what’s actually going on, this Sunday is for you.

Everyone welcome at St Paul’s with the service commencing at 9:30am.
