Today’s service was inspired by the spirit of Iona. We paused to feel the grounding of our feet as we walked on holy ground together. 🌿

Come in person or worship live on Facebook.

Then Moses said, "I must turn aside and look at this great sight and see why the bush is not burned up". Genesis 3:3
I encourage you to take the time to ‘turn aside’ and marvel at what God is doing. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what God has done. (Psalm 105: 1)

SHARING MUSTARD SEED MOMENTS
Being Present in Grief Sometimes, planting a seed simply means sitting quietly alongside someone in their pain. Recently, a Spicer member dropped in to see his landlady, who was grieving the sudden loss of her grandson. Instead of rushing off, he simply stayed with her. By offering a listening ear and a calm presence, he gave her a safe place with warmth and comfort into a heartbreaking moment.

Join us Sunday 10am. Come in person or worship with us live on Facebook.

"But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” (Matthew16:16-18 NIV)

St Magnus Cathedral was founded in 1137. Built from local red and yellow sandstone, the cathedral has stood firm against Reformers, Cromwellian troops and wartime danger.
I joined the active congregation there for Sunday morning worship and was impressed by their testimony to the words of Jesus.
May we be inspired by their faith.
