Last night’s Henry Shaw Oration saw Alex Ryvchin speak to a packed Shule, delivering a powerful and thought-provoking address.
Followed by a beautiful musical Selichot. This event was cohosted with Central Shule and Blake Street Hebrew Congregation, it was wonderful to see our communities come together for such a successful evening.

Alex Ryvchin is well known to many, he is the co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, a prominent speaker and writer on the Arab-Israeli conflict, national and international affairs, religion and identity.
An accomplished author and leading advocate for the Australian Jewish community, Alex is regularly interviewed and quoted in the media on antisemitism and issues affecting Jewish people.

We are thrilled to have Alex Ryvchin delivering this year's Pre Selichot Henry Shaw Oration.
