Dear Friends and Parishioners,

Just a friendly reminder that tonight, Thursday, 4 June, at 7:30 pm, Fr Dave will be facilitating a parish conversation on Receiving Holy Communion under Both Kinds.

This session will explore the Church’s teaching on the Eucharist, the meaning of receiving Holy Communion under both species, and how we can prepare ourselves to receive the Lord worthily.

Everyone is welcome. We encourage you to come along, deepen your understanding of our Catholic faith, and join in the conversation.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

Thank you to everyone in our Holy Spirit Parish community who generously shares their time, talents, and resources in support of our parish mission through our Parish Stewardship Program.

Over the past few weeks, we have reflected on the many blessings and gifts present within our parish community here at Holy Spirit Parish, St Clair.

This week, we reflect on the gift of generosity.

God calls each of us to be good stewards of the blessings we have received. Through regular or one-off financial contributions, we help ensure that our parish continues to grow, serve, and flourish for future generations.

Every gift — large or small — is a beautiful act of faith and thanksgiving.

Your generosity helps support:
• The celebration of the sacraments
• Care for the sick and elderly
• Faith formation in our local schools
• RCIA and programs welcoming new Catholics
• Our parish ministries and outreach
• The maintenance and care of our parish facilities

Thank you for helping build a vibrant and welcoming parish community.

Our Parish Stewardship Program: Living Our Faith Through Service

“Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant.”
– Matthew 20:26

God has blessed each of us with unique gifts and talents — not simply for ourselves, but to serve others and build up the Body of Christ.

This week, we reflect on how we can use our talents in the service of God, our parish, and our wider community.

What gifts has God given you?
How is He calling you to use them for His glory?

Whether you welcome people at Mass, sing in the choir, mentor young people, help prepare meals, assist quietly behind the scenes, or offer your time in simple acts of kindness — your service helps make our parish a vibrant and life-giving community.

Through Our Parish Stewardship Program, we are invited to live out our faith through the sharing of our time, talents, and resources. By offering the gifts God has entrusted to us, we help strengthen and nurture our parish family.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how you can become more involved in the life of the parish.

To learn more or to become involved, please contact the Parish Office or speak with one of our ministry leaders.
