🙏 Thank You for Your Prayers 🙏
On behalf of the Augustinians of the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel – Australasia, we sincerely thank everyone for your prayers and support during our Provincial Chapter.
Throughout the week, we gathered in a spirit of fraternity to pray, listen to the Holy Spirit, and discern together the future direction of our Province. It was a grace-filled time of renewing our commitment to our Augustinian way of life and discerning how we can more faithfully live our Augustinian charism and spirituality, so that we may joyfully witness to the Gospel through our life in community and our service to the people entrusted to our care in our parishes, schools, and ministries.
During the Chapter, Fr Anthony Banks OSA was installed as Prior Provincial. The newly elected Provincial Council comprises Fr Francis Belcina OSA, Fr Michael Belonio OSA, Fr Brian Buckley OSA, Fr Tuan Anh Le OSA, Fr Matteo Cho OSA, and Fr Percival Sevare OSA. Fr Michael Belonio OSA was also elected Provincial Bursar, and Fr Percival Sevare OSA was re-elected as Provincial Secretary for a third consecutive term.
We humbly ask you to continue praying for the Augustinians and for all those entrusted to our pastoral care. May God continue to guide us as we strive to build communities centred on Christ, inspired by St Augustine, and united in faith, hope, and love.
