As part of National Volunteer Week, we want to honour and celebrate the incredible Gomez family for their faithful, life-giving service to our church community.
Matt and Anka are such a huge blessing to our campus, and their heart for people, the church and the presence of God is evident in everything they do. Together, they lead a thriving Families Life Group, creating a space where people feel connected, encouraged and strengthened in their faith and relationships.
Matt faithfully oversees our Set-Up Team, serving with consistency, excellence and humility week after week. He is deeply passionate about prayer, carries such a genuine love for God and people, and always brings joy and energy wherever he serves.
Anka faithfully serves in Horizon Kids, investing into the next generation with so much care, warmth and intentionality. Together, Matt and Anka model what it looks like to love and serve Jesus wholeheartedly while raising an amazing family. They are incredible parents, passionate leaders and such a positive influence within our church community.
On top of all they do, they also run their own local business and are both currently studying through Horizon Leadership Academy, a reflection of their commitment to continual growth and serving God with all they have.
We love the Gomez family dearly and are so thankful for the impact they continue to make in the life of our church. Thank you for serving so faithfully, we are incredibly blessed by you!
