THE NORTHCOTE FESTIVAL IS BACK

Το Northcote Festival επιστρέφει — μεγαλύτερο και πιο ζωντανό από ποτέ!

Την Κυριακή 23 Αυγούστου, ο υπαίθριος χώρος του Καθεδρικού Ναού «Άξιον Εστίν» στο Northcote γεμίζει μουσική, χορό, γεύσεις και χαμόγελα!

Μια ολόκληρη ημέρα για όλη την οικογένεια, με ζωντανή μουσική, ελληνικά και πολυπολιτισμικά χορευτικά συγκροτήματα, σουβλάκια και παραδοσιακές λιχουδιές, παιχνίδια, λούνα παρκ, ζωάκια, καμήλες και πόνυ, παιδικές δραστηριότητες, περίπτερα και πολλές εκπλήξεις!

Και στις 6:00 μ.μ. συνεχίζουμε με παραδοσιακό γλέντι!

The Northcote Festival is back — bigger and more vibrant than ever!

On Sunday, 23 August, the outdoor grounds of the Cathedral of Our Lady Axion Estin in Northcote will come alive with music, dancing, food and family fun!

Enjoy a full day of live music, Greek and multicultural dance performances, souvlakia and traditional favourites, rides and amusements, animals, camel and pony rides, children’s activities, community stalls and plenty of surprises!

Then from 6.00pm, join us for a traditional bonfire glendi!

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας προσκαλούμε να τιμήσουμε όλοι μαζί τη μεγάλη Θεομητορική Εορτή της Κοιμήσεως της Υπεραγίας Θεοτόκου στον Ιερό Ναό Παναγίας Σουμελά, στο Keilor East.

7:00 pm – Great Hierarchical Vespers, presided over by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora.

Saturday, 15 August
7:45 am – Matins and Divine Liturgy.

Sunday, 16 August
7:45 am – Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, celebrated by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora.

From 11:30 am, celebrations will continue with the traditional Soumeliotissa Panigiri, marking a 50-year tradition, co-hosted with the Central Pontian Association of Melbourne and Victoria “Pontiaki Estia”.
