Archbishop Jeremy Greaves Archbishop Jeremy Greaves is the Archbishop the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane.

Jeremy Greaves is the Archbishop of the Diocese of Brisbane: he was consecrated on 24 February 2017 and installed as Archbishop on 16 December 2024. The Diocese of Brisbane stretches from the NSW border in the South to Bundaberg in the North and is comprised of around 135 parishes, 20 schools and many Anglicare sites.

The visit to Brisbane by the Archbishop of York over the weekend was a great encouragement to many and it was a joy for me to be able to thank +Stephen for his visit by presenting him with a magnificent painting by Fiona Omeenyo from Lockhart River.
The painting is called "Journey On" and depicts three figures in a boat on the water - plenty of rich imagery and beautiful colours.

Despite what we sometimes think about what happens here, Parliament House never fails to move me. It is a remarkable building and stands for all the things we might hope from a robust democracy.
This morning I was able to see Parliament at its best as I sat in the gallery of the House of Representatives for a little while to hear some of the speeches about Helen Haines MP, who is still in a critical condition following the recent attack outside her electoral office.
The speeches I heard were unfailingly heartfelt expressions of sorrow but also hope for what we might be.
