How it will work:
Starts at 9am
First in, first spots allocated, until full (if it's popular).
Doors open 9am – 12pm
You will be given a space for your items (your details recorded) and you MUST take away any left over items at the end.
Stay as long as you like. If you want to leave the event, you can, just come back to collect your items before 12.30pm.
Anyone is welcome to come and browse and take what you want/need!
Please be KIND, no fighting over items will be accepted.

MONDAY 2ND MARCH – WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! 🎨🎒

In just a couple of days, we’ll be at Mandurah Baptist Church (370 Pinjarra Rd, Greenfields) from 10am–3pm painting, decorating and moving all our Backpack Buddies stock into our new sorting space.

We have only TWO days to get it done before we have to pack backpacks on Wednesday for school delivery Thursday, so time is tight!

We need help with:
• Painting a 6m x 7m room
• Wall prep (filling, sanding, removing screws)
• Moving equipment and stock

We’ll supply everything, just bring enclosed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Even if you only have a spare hour, please just pop in between 10am–3pm, every pair of hands makes a difference 💛

Long Weekend Closure Notice
Please note that Bridge Builders will be closed on Monday 2nd March for the long weekend.

We will reopen and return to normal trade on Friday 6th March.

If you are seeking assistance over the long weekend, we encourage you to come in tomorrow between 11am–1pm so we can support you.

We’ll have:
🥕 Complimentary food hampers available filled with fruit and vegetables, some protein, dairy and baked goods
🛒 $5 pantry bags that contain pasta, noodles, cereal, tea/coffee/sugar, soups and more
🍞 A variety of fresh breads also available

Our heart is always to make sure families feel supported, especially heading into a long weekend. If you need a little extra help, please come and see us.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Please be snake aware when arriving on Sunday at the school.

Over the summer school holidays, the snakes in the area come out to play a little more since there's less activity on site to scare them away. I've (James) come in today and already sighted one snake, a rather large and angry looking dugite.

We don't wish to alarm you and put you off coming, but safety calls for us to make our yearly reminder that snakes are active in the school area! 🐍

As we wrap up another year, we just want to say… thank you.

Thank you to every person who donated, volunteered, shared a post, dropped off food, sponsored a program, or simply cheered us on. Because of you, we have been able to support families across Mandurah and the Peel region when they’ve needed it most.

Here’s what we achieved together in 2025:

🥫 3,850 Hampers provided to families through our Community Food Pantry
🎒7,313 Children supported through our Backpack Buddies program
🎄 296 Christmas hampers shared
🎂 46 Birthday in a Box celebrations
🎁 619 Christmas gifts opened

All this means we have provided enough food relief in our community for over 155,418 meals.

These numbers represent real people… and real relief.
Full tummies. Less stress. Kids coming home from school with food for the weekend. Families feeling seen and supported. ❤️

We are so grateful to our community, and for everyone who helps us keep showing up, week after week.

From all of us at Bridge Builders… thank you for being part of the impact and we look forward to continuing to work together in 2026.
