In the hope and promise of the Resurrection, Fr Panteleimon Laskaris, together with the Church Committee and all the parishioners of Saints Constantine and Helen in South Yarra, convey our heartfelt condolences to the Katsambanis family on the passing of their beloved husband and father, Mr Peter Katsambanis.

Peter and the Katsambanis family have been pivotal members of the Parish for three generations. Peter’s father and uncle were among the founding members of the Saints Constantine and Helen Church in South Yarra and Peter served as the President of the Church Committee in the 1990s. Peter always supported his ‘family church’ (as he called it) throughout his life even whilst living in Perth. Upon returning to Melbourne he became a valuable friend and confidant of myself who was the newly appointed Parish priest at the time. His encouragement, loyalty and kindness will always be remembered among all of the parishioners.

We remember Peter with great affection and gratitude for his contribution to our Church and wider community.

We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to his beloved wife, Karalee, and to all his family and loved ones during this time of sorrow.

May our Lord grant them strength and comfort, and may He rest the soul of His departed servant Peter(Panagiotis) among the righteous.

May his memory be eternal. ☦️
