Peter's South Tamworth we firmly believe that Jesus is who he claimed to be, the Christ: Son of the living God. This conviction is based on the historical claims about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection as recorded in the gospels of the New testament. These biographies, based on eye witness accounts affirm that Jesus was God become man and that he has the right to our ultimate allegiance as human
beings. We believe that the Bible, both Old and New testaments, is the inspired word of God, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness that the man or woman of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Furthermore we believe that the scriptures must be our ultimate rule for life and faith, and that no part of it can be ignored as irrelevant or outdated. We believe that the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds provide a helpful summary of what we believe and use these statements regularly in our weekly gatherings.
