Power Patrol - Power to Obey our Parents. Today we learnt that we have power, through the Holy Spirit to Obey our parents. God gave them authority because they have wisdom and want the best for us, just like He does. We can ask the Holy Spirit to help us when we find obeying tricky. Thank you to the amazing team for helping teach this today!

Holy Spirit Power - We have started a new series today all about the power we have available to us through the Holy Spirit when we are a friend of Jesus. Wini and Chris did an amazing job teaching us about what that power is and what we can do with it. Great job team!

Who's the Boss over sin??? Today Dorothy and Phil taught us that Jesus is the boss over sin and when we do things or behave in a way that that is hurtful, he can help us make things right. He loves everyone no matter what, are we loving like he does?

Who's the Boss?? Jesus is! He has authority to teach and guide us. Today we learnt about what he has authority over and why he is a good boss. He is God's son, he studied scripture, he never sinned and he always listened to God! We can trust him to teach us the right thing and everything he tells us is true and loving. Thanks Phil, Ellie, the Mensah kids and the Vogelpoel family for helping teach us today!

What a fun morning! How do we get to know God better? Good question! We answered it in HDK today! Thank you to Zac, Tom and Amy for helping me teach the kids that we can learn who God is through reading, talking and seeing Him work!

Yesterday we learnt however can know who God is by looking at Jesus. Bec and Dorothy showed us that God is SO big and powerful that it would have been SO hard to get to know him. So he sent Jesus, so we had someone we could understand and relate to who could show us God. Isn't he good???
