Non-stop prayer in every nation on earth

From 6–13 September 2026, the church is invited to pray non-stop in every nation on earth in the Global Week of Prayer. We sense God’s invitation to unite together to lift up the name of Jesus.

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:9-11 NIV

As we pray together, we want to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord over all of the earth. We’re seeking to encounter this beauty and power, and carry Jesus into our towns, cities and nations.

THE PRAYER ROOM

On Friday 14 August, we will be holding our next Prayer Room – 12 hours of non-stop prayer, a chance to step away from the noise and draw near to God. The Prayer Room will start at 12 noon on Friday and run until midnight. There will be space to sit quietly, pause, pray, lament and worship together. This year we are praying the "impossible prayers", believing that our God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20).

Come for a moment, stay as long as you like.

The 2026 Census cannot measure the depth of our faith, but it does provide an important snapshot of how many Australians identify as Christian. This information helps governments, researchers and community organisations better understand the religious makeup of our nation and recognise the ongoing contribution Christian communities make through churches, schools, charities, chaplaincy, aged care and many other areas of service. Census data can also assist governments and community organisations in planning and allocating resources to support services provided by Christian organisations.

If you identify as a Christian, please consider completing the religion question by:

• Answering Question 24.
• Selecting "Other" as specific denominations will not be not listed.
• Writing "Pentecostal" in the space provided (Dreambuilders Church sits within the Pentecostal movement in Australia). The Australian Bureau of Statistics will group these responses together under the Pentecostal category.

The Census isn't just used for data collection. The information helps inform decisions about community needs, services and planning (ie, things like funding for Christian schools and programs, even the continuation of prayer in Parliament). As Christians, we are called to be "salt & light" in the world (Matt. 5:13-16), representing Christ both through our words and our actions. Answering the "Religion" question is one simple way we can honestly state our identity in Christ and acknowledge the contribution Christian communities continue to make within Australia.

For over 20 years, Dreambuilders Churches have collectively given millions of dollars to advance the cause of Christ on the earth. We do this through “Faith Promise Giving”.

What is a faith promise?

A Faith Promise is a prayerful financial commitment that we make annually, over and above our tithe and general offerings with the specific purpose of accomplishing our vision for missions: We see Dreambuilders Church as a missional church – a church committed to supporting church planting and humanitarian aid locally, nationally and globally. A faith promise represents what we can do through good stewardship in the natural with an added element of faith.

How should I approach it?

A Faith Promise is a commitment to contribute to the missions’ work of Dreambuilders Smithton and the wider Dreambuilders Network. It keeps mission from being something that we do as an afterthought, but rather as a key part of each of our lives. We ask that you spend time in prayer in the lead up to Advance Conference, asking God what He would have you give. As you pray, thoughtfully ask yourself these three questions:

1. What can I give? If I put this in my budget, what can I afford to give?
2. What can I give up? Maybe there are some “wants” I can lay aside?
3. And if I add my faith to it? What can I believe God to provide?

As you take time to pray, we believe that God will speak to you and help you to stretch your faith to see His Kingdom advance in this year ahead.

Join us on Saturday 20 June 2026 at 6 pm and Sunday 21 June 2026 at 10 am to find out more about who we support with Faith Promise Giving.
