So magnificent and powerful was His flight an

d yet so graceful that when she fell, the eagle would move quickly to sweep her up, not with His claws, but upon His pinions. We were led to the Word of God, the Song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32:11), where Moses assured Israel of the constant presence of God during their wanderings in the desert. Moses compared the presence of God to a mother eagle hovering over her nest, constantly protecting her young and lovingly caring, nourishing and strengthening them. Her young ones are strengthened as they eagerly wait upon their mother to be fed and prepared for the future". After receiving the dream and confirmation from God’s Word, the LORD took us to the City of Cairns for a walk on the Esplanade. There, we saw right before our own eyes, a majestic, beautiful mountain, resembling the flight of an Eagle. It was confirmation of GOD's promise - The HOLY SPIRIT. To us it felt like GOD was assuring us in this most remarkable way of HIS constant presence. Just the same way the HOLY SPIRIT was constantly with the Israelite's in the wilderness. How secure HIS promise and how comforting to know that as we wait upon HIM, the HOLY SPIRIT will prepare, protect and strengthen us for an incredible future in HIM. Therefore, we believe, we are " Destined To Soar ". Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

This Sunday, we celebrate and honour the fathers, grandfathers and father figures in our lives, while above all giving thanks for the perfect love and faithfulness of our Heavenly FATHER.

There is something so special about gathering together as the family of GOD — worshipping JESUS, being strengthened through HIS Word, and making room for the HOLY SPIRIT to move in our lives.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1

Like David, we don’t face our battles in our own strength. We stand in faith, knowing the battle belongs to the LORD and our victory is found in CHRIST.
