Righteousness Revealed Part IV TONIGHT ✨

We are loving this series! Last week we heard from Joel and Hannah about the importance of wisdom, and how it is a portion and inheritance of the righteous. 🙏

Looking at several pieces of scripture, including the lives of David and Solomon, we were inspired to embrace hesed wisdom - God's divine, gracious wisdom. We are never in short supply of wisdom when we are in relationship with a loving God who generously gives us divine guidance! 🙌

Our main takeaway: Jesus is our wisdom. When we spend time with Him in His presence and in His Word, our hearts receive wisdom through His voice and His grace.

✨Righteousness Revealed Part II TONIGHT ✨

We're back on tonight from 6:30pm with food, games and another powerful word of encouragement on righteousness 🔥

RECAP: Last week, we dug deep into what the Bible says about righteousness in Christ - that it doesn't depend on our works, our failings or our successes. In fact, our own righteousness is like filthy rags to God. But the righteousness we receive by simply believing in Jesus Christ is unending, unfailing, never-changing.

We then dove into the story of Abraham, the father of our faith. We were reminded that it is our faith in Christ that makes us righteous, and that no matter what mistakes we make (and how many times we make them 🫣), God never changes His mind about us. When He says we are righteous, He sees us and treats us as righteous no matter what.

Join us tonight to go even deeper and be encouraged in revelations of righteousness 🙌

The world tells us we have to earn rewards, live up to rules and expectations, and deserve any goodness or favourable treatment. But the Word of God says that all we have to do to achieve righteousness, wholeness and freedom is believe. This term, we're digging into what the Word says about how we've received the righteousness of God as believers, and how the story of Abraham holds truths for the lives of the righteous 🔥✨🐏⛰⛺️

MADE FOR THIS - FINAL SESSION ON MONDAY

We have loved this series! What an inspiration it is to look at the real people whose lives & experiences were included in the Word of God. They are proof that God has designed each of us with intention, purpose and destiny. They are reminders that we don’t have to be anything other than ourselves to be included in God’s story - because we are truly made for this! 😍

Our two previous sessions had Abbie encouraging us through the story of Esther that God is always working behind the scenes on our behalf and His timing is perfect; while Nick shared how the accounts of Peter are evidence that God turns our weaknesses into strength by His grace. 🙌
