Hello friends,
We will be there at Legana Hall this Sunday at 10:30 am for our final ever service as West Tamar Baptist Church.

This Ministry started out as West Tamar Baptist Fellowship, which was really just a small group for Bible Believing Christians, or those interested in becoming a Christian, to gather once a month over at Sidmouth Hall.

Thousands of Church invites/Gospel tracts were distributed throughout the region, we will have to wait until we get to Heaven to find out how much impact we truly had sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ with our local community.

Moving the ministry to Legana Hall, we became a Church plant in May 2022, always striving to find a balance between sound Doctrine and Grace, with practical preaching and heartfelt worship to God.

It's been a pleasure to see our regular attendees grow in that time and we know they have other local Churches they can attend, serve in and continue their Christian growth going forward.

Thankyou to all those who supported us, whether by attending a service or through prayers and support, your encouragement was felt and appreciated.

Hello friends,
We’ll be there at Legana Hall at 10:30 tomorrow for our monthly service and fellowship.

The title of the message will be ‘Obstacles’ where the Preacher will talk about the types of obstacles a Christian typically faces when trying to talk with unbelievers about the Free Gift of Salvation (ie pride, a faulty understanding that we must somehow earn Salvation, different belief systems, cultural aspects etc) the second half of the sermon will focus on obstacles faced by the Christian as they attempt to live for God and walk in the light (ie persecution, tribulations, spiritual attacks, wolves in sheep’s clothing etc)

It should be an edifying message that is relevant to all believers.

All welcome, that’s at 10:30 am Sunday 5th March at Legana Hall, West Tamar.

Hope you have a great weekend! We would love to see you at a service soon. We are back at Legana Hall on the 7th of August to worship our God, fellowship with other believers and ‘future Christians’ alike and then go grab Sunday lunch somewhere local afterwards!

Hello friends,
After about 2.5 years as a Fellowship out at Sidmouth Hall, we have decided to move our ministry to Legana Hall and become a Church plant.

We are very much an establishing Church and will continue to gather on a monthly basis, with services at 10:30 on the first Sunday of each month. Our new address is the corner of Fulton Street and Bulman Street, Legana. (First service 1st of May)

We hope God will give the increase, and if things go to plan we have the option of switching to weekly services.

We would love to see you at a service! We are a little more old fashioned/conservative some might say. We believe in the Old Paths and use the King James Version of The Bible.

The service runs for about an hour or so with lunch/coffee/light refreshments served afterwards.

Merry Christmas to all our friends and the wider community,
It's been a tough year for so many people...Sometimes you can't go around rather you have to go through...But by the Grace of God and through the love and healing power of our Saviour we have the capacity to navigate all the storms of life this side of Heaven.

May you find peace like a river this Christmas and on into 2022.

Hello friends,
We will be there again this Sunday from 11 am, which will be our new service time going forward. All welcome, tea, coffee and light refreshments provided.

We hope to switch to weekly services and become a new Church plant later in the year if it be God's Will.

Unfortunately we will have to cancel this Sunday’s service (2/5) due to regular visitors being away and/or unwell.

We will be back there at Sidmouth Hall at 2:30pm on the 6th June.
