CityServe Shellharbour We do this by bringing together volunteers from local churches and the community. To make a difference in someone’s life. To add value to someone’s life.

Founded in 2014 CityServe Shellharbour is a collaboration of of the Shellharbour regional churches, alongside our community working together to transform our city through service. Historically we have worked alongside Shellharbour Council to improve public spaces such as recreation areas. We have also been blessed through the generosity of local businesses and community leaders to achieve some gre

at outcomes in the Shellharbour Region. As we step into 2022 our aim is to collaborate with a local school and the indigenous community to impact the lives of the parents and children therein through the improvement of the recreation and experiential learning areas and community gardens.

“Reaching out to those within our reach” is an initiative that we run through our Connect Groups. Here we aim to create relationships with those within our reach that need someone to be there, talk to, and walk alongside with. This is a unique approach to CityServe. We see CityServe as a daily commitment, an opportunity, a relationship, and part of our worship. Our aim is to create a positive transformation in our city. Another successful CityServe project day at Lake Illawarra South Public School!

It was an amazing day of being able to serve the staff and students through the work that took place today.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to serve our community today as we couldn’t have done it all without you!

With our CityServe Project Day at Lake Illawarra South Public School this Saturday, we'll be sharing some of the project areas that we'll be working on over the course of the day!

The fourth and fifth areas will be removing the larger trees along the back of some of the classrooms, cleaning up the gardened area next to the undercover play area and removing some timber sleepers that are along the side of the main pathway behind the classrooms.

With our CityServe Project Day at Lake Illawarra South Public School this Saturday, we'll be sharing some of the project areas that we'll be working on over the course of the day!

The third is the repairing the roof of the schools play equipment, along with repainting it and clearing the ground cover of grass for the students to use throughout their day!

The second is the restraining of several planter boxes and a small stage across the front of the school along with some of the cork board in one of the classrooms to have a renewed look for the students!

The combined churches of Shellharbour and the Lake Illawarra South Public School invite you to join us for another City Serve Project!

The City Serve team visited the school last Sunday to inspect the projects to be undertaken on the day.

Come along on Saturday the 17th of May as we work together to beautify the school’s grounds for the staff and students.

The morning will start at 8am with a Barbeque lunch & refreshments served throughout the day to all volunteers and visitors.

With the successful CityServe project at Warilla North Public School in the middle of November, we'll be sharing the transofrmation that took place over the course of the day to the many different project areas the volunteers worked on throughout the day!

The first and largest project was the concrete block wall's transformation to be open and have a benchtop for use by the students who attend the school's breakfest club program. The work began the day before, removing the majority of the concrete blocks from the centre of the wall, which was then painted and the benchtop attached during the project day!

We'll be sharing more photos of the other project areas over the coming weeks!

It was such an amazing day at Warrila North Public School for the CityServe Project day on Saturday the 16th of November!

With around 90 volunteers from roughly 11 churchs across the local area coming together to work on improving the facilities and revitalisation of multiple areas in the school.

Thank you to all who served on the day as we couldn't of done it without your willingness to serve the staff and students of the school!

Such an amazing turnout for our first CityServe project day in 5 years!

It was an amazing day of being able to serve the staff and students at Warilla North Public School through the work that took place today.

Thank you to everyone who came along to serve our community today as we couldn’t have done it all without you!

With the first CityServe event in 5 years less than 72 hours away at Warilla North Public School, we'll be sharing the last major project area that we'll be working on this Saturday.

The third project area is going to be adding different steps onto this existing structure so that the younger students will be able to interact with other students around it during their recess & lunch breaks!
