Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our good friend and volunteer, Robin Marsh, passed away this week.

Robin was a valued member of our Salvos community, and the broader Seymour community, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, especially his sister, Suzanne.

We will share details of Robin's funeral service as soon as they become available.

Please join us in remembering Robin and giving thanks for his life, friendship, and service.

Due to the current Watch and Act warning for our area and the potential for flooding, we have made the difficult decision to cancel today’s Community Lunch at Seymour Salvos.

The safety of our volunteers, guests, and the wider community is our highest priority, and we don’t want anyone travelling unless it is necessary.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back at our next Community Lunch.

We are in the middle of our fundraising for Red Shield Appeal- local donations for local projects.
This year we seek to raise $8000, which will assist in updating our Community Laundry with industrial strength washing machines. On average, our community who do not have access to their own laundry spend up to $60 a week utilising laundrymats; money which could be spent on fuel or food.
