As such it has been recognised in Rome by the Pontifical Council for the laity as a "Private Association of Christian Faithful of Pontifical Right". The members of the fellowship individually maintain a sacramental and hierarchal bond with the wider church. The

which was founded in 1981. It is an ecumenical charismatic group of Christians seeking a lifestyle which upholds Christian values such as family life, prayer, sharing and service.
