The Bread of Life Catholic Fellowship is a founding member of the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships. As such it has been recognised in Rome by the Pontifical Council for the laity as a "Private Association of Christian Faithful of Pontifical Right". The members of the fellowship individually maintain a sacramental and hierarchal bond with the wider church. The

Bread of Life Fellowship is associated with The Servants of Jesus Community
which was founded in 1981. It is an ecumenical charismatic group of Christians seeking a lifestyle which upholds Christian values such as family life, prayer, sharing and service.
