It was a blessed Friday Night service. We’re overflowing with thankfulness for God’s graciousness in our lives: celebrating a reunion of sorts, a fresh start in life, a fulfillment of God’s promise, a new baby, new believers who got water baptized, and more.

God is awesome. He always is.

We thank God for doors that opened during Water Baptism Emphasis Weekend.

This week, COP’s original composition, MAHALAGA, was aired on radio via Sydney’s ALIVE 90.5, in the program “Pinoy Ako”. It will be a regular in their playlist. On the same day of the airing, the radio host followed Jesus in water baptism. She also happened to have a scheduled trip to the Philippines so she met with our Daily Manna team to donate food for the daily feeding in Aroma which she will participate in.

This week also, a new believer from our recent Christmas in July event followed Jesus in water baptism. She happens to host two radio programs and is a resident writer for a publication that is distributed all over Australia. She will also be playing MAHALAGA in her two shows and wants to make a feature article about the gift giving in Aroma.

All glory to God. Keep us in your prayers that we can be good stewards of these open doors.

COP Sydney rejoices for the salvation found in Jesus as we held Christmas in July: Glory to God. As we brought toys to be sent to the Daily Manna Foundation in the Philippines as part of the Christmas gift-giving, we remember the greatest gift that is in Christ. Praise God for people who said YES to receiving Jesus and YES to getting water baptized.

COP Sydney was so blessed as we joined COP Manila Campus for Student Weekend. We are encouraged and are proud of the young student pastors who preached today. Praying together that God will raise more next generation preachers in COP family to preach and establish churches to advance His kingdom.
