"Holy week" kicked of yesterday with Palm Sunday, a king entering humbling on a donkey, who then went straight to the temple. While Jesus' popularity didn't last that week, the ripple effects of what he achieved this week last forever! Please join us as we explore and celebrate this significant week in history.

Dear Early Voters... We aren't a Early Voting Center (we've had some attempts Saturday and again this morning). The early voting center for Port Adelaide is at 73 Grand Junction Rd, Rosewater.

We are only open on Saturday, with a democracy sausage sizzle until about 2pm. Shorter wait times than other voting booths in the area has also occurred in the past. (But as the ad's say: past performance is not an indicator of future performance! 😉)
Blessings!

While the Bible is made up of 66 books and many different human authors, it is one unified story. As we start the period of Lent, a time often of self-disciple and growth, we will be focusing on that very framework of one united story with Jesus as the hero. Follow the link for further details.

A beautiful part of the Psalms is that they include the full range of human experience and emotions. So does the week of Easter, and so though the paradigm of Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday we will consider some Psalms that sumarise the experience of these days... day of which we experience too, as we ask, How, Why? Where, and also know joy. Further details click on the link.

The Christian life contains the full breath of the human emotions, the type of emotions that are labelled ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ (such a distinction is inter

In the lead up to Christmas this year we are going to prepare for Jesus’ birth by looking at the prophecy about him recorded in Isaiah ch 9:6-7. We will tease out a few of the names and role of Jesus, and see just how remarkably good this promised child is…and therefore, just how great the events we celebrate at Christmas are!
Isaiah 9:6-7 (NIV): 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

In the lead up to Christmas this year we are going to prepare for Jesus' birth by looking at the prophecy about him recorded in Isaiah ch 9:6-7. We will tease o

Ohh the start of this conversation just sounds amazing, (where each person has to summerises the other) and then Prof Dawkins says "Yes, that's right, I couldn't say it better"... to the retired Archbishop of Canterbury; I can't wait for this to be released....

Ever thought of your position being sumerised by someone else... and so being well understood?

Beautiful! Great work Justin

I am beyond excited to bring you the conversation I recorded today with Richard Dawkins & Rowan Williams.

It’s another reason to look out for our forthcoming show ‘Uncommon Ground’, launching in early 2026.

One of the unique things about this new show is that, before we debate their differences, I ask both guests to try to summarise the position of the other person on the issue under discussion.

It’s a really interesting exercise in empathy and seeking to understand each other, and I think it lays the ground for a very different kind of conversation.

Different guests do it in very different ways but there was a lovely moment today when Rowan gave his summary of Richard’s view and was met with ‘That’s exactly right! You’ve said it better than I could say it myself!’

I honestly believe that creating better conversations about the issues we most disagree on is the only way forward in our increasingly polarised climate.

P.S. and yes… I sometimes have to pinch myself that I get to do this!

This Sunday as we consider The Air We Breathe in the West of "Compassion"... a helpful insight is given by the beautiful movie The Tree of Life... Enjoy the trailer, and consider, where does compassion come from? Not nature that is for sure!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

This Sunday we start a new exciting series, which if I had to summarize in one sentence, I would say something like: how Jesus' crucifixion changed the world, bring a revolution to freedom, kindness, equality, consent etc. Values that have become the air we breathe, but with a distinctive, revolutionary origin.

I thought Max Jeganathan had some helpful insights around the climate debate... in how we talk about it publicly; our moral reasoning; our ability to talk with those politically different to ourselves; and the ultimate hope we carry into these conversations. Enjoy! (16mins long at normal play speed)

In this talk, Max Jeganathan examines how Christian theology speaks into the climate crisis, offering a framework that integrates environmental responsibility with moral and spiritual insight. Drawing on biblical principles and global challenges, he outlines how faith, ethics, and human agency inter...
