St Marys Presbyterian Community Church

St Marys Presbyterian Community Church We are a community church located in St Marys. Our aim is to know our Lord Jesus Christ and make him known in our community.

We are a local Presbyterian Church of Australia congregation located in the Sydney suburb of St Marys. We are a congregation made up of people from diverse background and culture and we welcome all people from all nations to come and worship our God together with us. Our priority is to know Christ from the Bible, the Word of God, and to make him known in the world. If you are deaf (or if you know

someone who is), and if you want to know more about Jesus and to worship God with other deaf Christians, then please join us on Sunday where we have the Deaf Christian Fellowship congregation join us with an Auslan interpreter for the whole service.

The generosity of God means that we can enter into his Kingdom, not by our merit, but by the payment Jesus made on the cross.

We enter by grace and not by works.

It is better for you to drown with a millstone tied around your neck than to face the wrath of God for the sins you commit against him.
But God's grace means that all who humble themselves and believe in Jesus will enter his kingdom and those who enter will never be lost because God will always look for them and bring them back.

The good news of Jesus Christ is that by his death on the cross, he has paid the ransom once for all. We don't have to pay because he has paid it for us, and now in him we are also exempt from payment because we are the children of God.

Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God as testified to by Moses and Elijah. To find Jesus anywhere else apart from the Bible is to find a false Jesus.

At times, we think we know better than God what is best for our lives. It is at those moments we need to be reminded that we follow Jesus and not the other way round.
Peter found out the hard way what it means to follow Jesus. It was to get out of his way and let Jesus do what is divinely necessary.
