Grief doesn't follow a timeline.

Some days you may smile at a treasured memory.

Other days, the smallest thing can bring tears.

Both are completely normal.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is no finish line.

Be gentle with yourself.

And if someone you care about is grieving, remember that your presence is often more valuable than finding the perfect words.

Sometimes simply saying,
"I'm here whenever you need me,"
is enough.

It's not always easy to talk about death and dying. Your excellent questions, your openness and your curiosity all helped us to have these important conversations together.

Death and dying can be hard to talk about. We think talking helps.
On Tuesday 4th August we are again hosting an information session on death, dying and preparing for end of life.
Come and meet our welcoming staff and our end of life doula. Ask any questions you might have about planning your end of life wishes. No question is silly.
We will have coffins, urns, shrouds and other keepsakes and memorabilia on display on the day.
