It’s been a busy day across the Cluster. We gathered our communities in worship at St Mary’s and St Christopher’s and even though it was rather chilly, the warmth that we shared in fellowship was comforting. At the end of the services we had our now annual ‘fire drill’. Our wardens expertly guided us to the exit, checked the building to make sure all were out and ‘rang for assistance’. I’m happy to report everyone was saved! Finally the day ended with a sublime concert by Counterpoint.
Next week we have a combined cluster service at St Mary’s @ 9am for our feast of title. We look forward to seeing you there. 😊🙏🏻

Happy Feast of St Christopher everyone!! Today we came together as a Cluster to celebrate and give thanks for St Christopher and his example of gifting his talents to others. We reflected on the parable of the mustard seed and jointly constructed our ‘Cluster Mustard Tree’ that gives examples of how we participate the bringing forth of the kingdom of God in our time and place by sharing our gifts and talents. There was such a feeling of warmth.. generosity and community. If you couldn’t make it today.. or have been thinking about joining us.. now is the time. You are very welcome! What a wonderful start to our weekend! The Op Shop was a hive of joyous activity as everyone munched on sweet treats and had morning tea together at our Christmas in July gathering. Warm conversation and welcome was experienced by all that attended and we’ve decided that we shall make it a more regular event - ‘Just Because…’ If you missed out today.. come and be part of our Family Service as we celebrate St Christopher @ 9am on Sunday. There shall be cake and treats a plenty. 😁🧁

Today across the cluster we have celebrated Sea Sunday and held in prayer all those who gift their skills and talents in service on the sea. What a great day to be community together! 🙏🏻🌈⚓️
