To Our Parish and community of St George Rose Bay,

St George Development Approved

I am pleased to announce that Woollahra Council has approved the proposed modifications to the development of the Parish’s property assets. The approved modifications ensure that all apartments comply with Specialist Disability Accommodation design requirements.

This approval represents an important milestone for the Parish. The development is a crucial part of ensuring the Parish’s long-term financial sustainability, enabling it to continue its mission and serve our community well into the future, for the benefit of generations to come.

The approval now allows the Parish Council to progress to the next stages of the project. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the process and acknowledge the support, patience and commitment shown by all throughout the approval process.

The Parish Council will provide further updates on the project, including the commencement of works and key milestones, will be provided as details become available.

On behalf of the Parish Council, I look forward to progressing this important development and to seeing its benefits realised for our Parish and the wider community.

St George Church celebrated the feast day of the Holy Theotokos with a bake day on Sunday 16 August. Thank you to our Ladies Philoptohos and friends who prepared yummy sweet and savoury treats and to those who supported the fundraiser.
