Welcome to Sunday!

Most of us want a God powerful enough to help and predictable enough to manage. Matthew 8 gives us neither. Jesus sleeps through a storm that terrifies professional fishermen, stands up, and speaks to the weather like it works for him. The men in the boat end up more unsettled after the rescue than during it. Then a whole town, watching him free two men nobody could go near, politely asks him to go somewhere else. Join us at 10am and/or 6pm for a Sunday about what we do with a Jesus this big.

It's also Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! Join as we also celebrate the work of Mission Aviation Fellowship in all our services today.

Welcome to Sunday!

It is said that disappointment is the gap between reality and expectations. We can all have expectations that do not match reality: work, family, relationships. We can also experience this with following Jesus. Today we meet two men who told Jesus they wanted to follow him. Neither was expecting Jesus’ answer. He made it harder for them, not easier.
