Our faith in Jesus guides everything we do:

Compassion – we are empathic and sensitive to all. Creative – we make inspired places and are committed to innovation. Collaborate – we value all our stakeholders and together we generate positive outcomes. Choices – providing options that will ensure a personal final tribute. Delivery – we excel in all that we do. Integrity – we live our values of honesty, mercy and respect.

On Monday 3 August 2026, Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria was honoured to host the blessing of the new St Nemetallah lawn, a dedicated burial ground for members of the Maronite community.

Led by His Excellency Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, the blessing was attended by members of the Maronite Church, local community representatives, and Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria staff. We would also like to acknowledge Vicar General Monsignor Marcelino Youssef, Catholic Cemeteries CEO Lauren Hardgrove, and Board Member Bishop Anthony Percy for joining us.

Our sincere thanks to Bishop Tarabay and John Dickinson, CCC’s Community Engagement Lead, for their work bringing this new area and event to fruition.

We are proud to welcome all members of the community as a place of remembrance, care and connection.

On August 4, Grief Care and Macarthur Memorial Park were honoured to be part of 𝐃𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐃𝐚𝐲 at Campbelltown Catholic Club, joining more than 40 organisations dedicated to supporting individuals and families through every stage of end-of-life care.

With over 350 people attending, the day provided a valuable opportunity to connect with our community, answer questions, and share information about grief support, memorial options and the services available through Macarthur Memorial Park.

One of the highlights was Grief Care's Let's Talk About Grief presentation, delivered by Carmela Di Pietro. The session encouraged open conversations about grief and explored how families, friends and communities can better support one another with compassion and understanding.

We were especially pleased to see such a positive response to our multilingual Grief Care resources, available in English, Samoan, Arabic, Hindi and Bengali. Making support more accessible to people from diverse cultural backgrounds is an important part of our commitment to serving the whole community.

It was also wonderful to connect with our funeral director partners, community organisations and the many people who visited our stall throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a conversation, asked questions or simply shared their story.

Events like Dying to Know Day remind us that compassionate conversations can make a real difference. Together, Grief Care and Macarthur Memorial Park are proud to be part of the Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria family, accompanying families with care, compassion and hope.

It was wonderful to connect with so many members of our community at CatholicCare’s Ageing with Confidence event at Campbelltown Catholic Club on July 22nd.

Together, Grief Care and Macarthur Memorial Park had the opportunity to share information, answer questions and have meaningful conversations about planning ahead, navigating grief, and the support available before, during and after times of loss.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall. We’re grateful to be part of events that strengthen community connections and help people age with dignity, confidence and care.
